"We had Sunday lunch there today and the food is delicious. There were 14 of us and the service was excellent, the roast beef was tender with the added surprise of cauliflower cheese under a lovely Yorkshire pud. The star dish though was the Queen of Puddings for dessert! Not one you see very often but it was so yummy. Thank you for today, sorry we lost half of us during lunch and thank you for being so understanding. We will be back xx"

"Good setting, good service and nice table layout. Starter and desert very nice. I had lamb for the main course but it was a bit chewy and too much mint sauce. My partner had the chicken and she said it was nice. The pint of Peroni seemed expensive £4.95 a pint. We used the tastecard for the food which made it excellent value but its good value anyway really the food even without the tastecard. Just the drinks seemed a bit excessive on price."
