"I popped into this cafe for a quick bite to eat with my elderly parents and my young daughter. Firstly, we were in the queue when one of their staff accused us of not socially distancing, calling us out in front of the whole queue....We informed her that we were in fact a family who live together which was clearly obvious by looking at us. Then, when they were preparing the coffee and food, they yelled at someone and their children for being inside their little tape square they had marked on the floor. The whole tape box is a bit stupid as you have to go up to the counter (within feet of the barista) to collect your order anyway. Then, as I was sat down eating I saw the same barista who had yelled at the woman and the kids having a conversation with a friend who was leaning on the counter only a foot away from the barista. Clearly the staff here pick and choose who gets to follow the Covid rules and they’ve also taken it upon themselves to yell at people they think aren’t following the rules instead of kindly asking people."
