"The meal and atmosphere were fantastic. I can picture this place being extremely busy on a Saturday, but when I went on a Sunday, we were seated right away even though the restaurant was packed by 7:30 pm. The service, food, and ambience were all excellent. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in Durham."

"I had the most terrible experience at this restaurant. I really wish I could get a refund. It was extremely noisy, chaotic, and overall awful. The waitstaff had trouble keeping track of their tables. The other diners were incredibly loud and disruptive, and no one addressed the issue. The food was poorly seasoned and prepared, with very small portions. I would highly recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs. It is a truly terrible dining experience."

"luciano’s is a wonderful authentic Italian experience. I don't live in sunderland, but traveled one away to give a friend the experience. the restaurant is attractive, eating amazing service courtesy prompt. the only negatiw is, we sat near a window and were a very cold day in an old building, it was a little cold (the window was closed). that will not put me away from this wonderful place. love it!"
