"The service was quite slow but the waiter was very lovely and polite. A few of us went out for lunch and had the set menu. It's a good selection of options for everyone including vegetarians. We all agreed the food was nice but lacking in spice, so ordered extra chillies on the side! My brulee had also curdled and did not have the lovely crisp crunch when you first crack into a brulee. Overall I would go again as presentation and ambience now, food and speed of service could be better however."

"Absolutely superb. Large restaurant in Barnsley town center. Second visit today with a small party. There is plenty of space between tables so you don't feel crowded. Once you are seated and have ordered your drinks which are brought to the table simply make your way to the extensive buffet area. After you are seated the waiting staff will serve a large selection of meats and will keep returning until you turn the service card over (Each person has a small circular card, one side indicates you want to keep getting served with meat the other indicates you no longer want to be served more meat). The food was excellent and we all enjoyed the whole experience. The staff are very polite and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend."
