"Mixed experience. Had a booking, restaurant still on a Monday afternoon, took 5 minutes for someone to come to us at the desk, and when she did she barely said hello, just looked at us with a scowl. After that sat at table for 15 minutes waiting for someone to eat over. Eventually got order in, waitress didn't even ask if we wanted anything to drink. We were there 30 minutes before we actually got a drink. Not really acceptable in a quiet restaurant, that was closing in less than an hour closes early on a Monday. Food was good when it came, and different waitress by now, who was so much better. So a mixed bag. I know staff difficulties at present, but 10 minutes training in fundamentals would help. As would have someone in charge on the floor to ensure paying customers are being looked after. Poor management from what I saw. Pity, as some of the staff were great, others very poor. "Cafe en Seine is a truly fenomenal restaurant. My partner and I have visited the restaurant at 1PM after making a reservation which was answered quickly and efficiently. We were greeted by the incredibly kind and professional staff member Laysa which made sure we were seated and comforotable. Cutlery was replaced after each meal and Layla made sure that the food was up to our liking. The atmosphere was a true authentic depiction of restaurants of France. The cleanliness of the place is amongst the best. We requested a Shared Starter consisting of Chicken wings, Table Snacks, for the Main course we chose Hamburger with Fries, Broccoli with nuts and finally a beautifully brewed Latte with a desert of Vanilla/Mango Cheesecake. The portions were well planned and fulfilling in every way. The chef deserves high praise for their true attention to detail and craftsmenship when delivering this high quality of meals. Overall experience was absolutely incredible and should be on any ones Number One list to visit. A worthy mention to Mr. Alexander who is the kidnest Manager that made our stay memorable, fun and informative, a true profesionality and enthusiasm shines through every interaction and is well worth the praise. Thank you Alexander. I am happy to say that I will continue to reccommend Cafe en Seine to friends, family and anyone that is looking for the highest level of class, respect and service. I am looking forward to my future visits and I sincerly would like to thank everyone involved in making our stay incredibly pleasant and enjoyable."

"Went for Beauty and The Beast afternoon tea yesterday. Utterly stunning building and the room we were sat in was decorated beautifully. The service from start to finish was lovely although we did have to flag someone down anytime we needed something as we were not approached at all for more drinks or if we wanted our scones. The sandwiches were lovely and cut perfectly if not a little bland. The chicken roll was lovely and the toastie was nice but would benefit from stronger cheese as it didn’t really taste of anything. The scones were perfect and some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The sausage rolls were amazing as were the little tart and salmon mousse. The cakes very much let it all down. The blueberry cake tasted of nothing and seemed greasy. The macaron again tasted of very little and the red food colouring stained everything it touched. The lemon cake was nice but the icing was awful and it seemed to be made from margarine rather than actual butter. The chocolate mousse was lovely if not a little strong for the children. Both the savoury and sweet biscuits were out of this world. Our biggest complaint is that 4 of us were squeezed into a small table. We really struggled for space. I couldn’t drink my tea and had to hand back my pot of tea as we simply didn’t have space for it. We felt incredibly cramped. It would of been nice to have some music in line with the themed afternoon tea playing too perhaps?"
