"This is a lovely place in a clearing in a forest. The grounds are kept to a beautiful standard. The main building is charming and oldy worldy. Our room in the Park View block was basic but clean and adequate just lacking a small fridge. The inclusive English cooked breakfast was of a high standard, and a choice of other items were available. The only things missing which I would have liked were fresh fruit and yoghurt. The staff were extremely nice and nothing was too much trouble. The lodges and owners lodges around the fishing lake were modern and well placed for picturesque views. We may try to rent one of those when we next go, yes, we would go back. The only down point was each day was a minimum of half hour drive away to the coast or 15 mins to other inland places to visit. Overall, we had a very pleasing short break. Kids play area, sunloungers and a fire pit with seating round available to all. A well stocked bar available too."
