"The only disappointment was where we were seated: people were standing behind us and kept knocking into our chairs because they were very drunk. Perhaps they should seat people who are eating separately from those who are drinking. I had to speak to them to ask them to stop knocking into our chairs. The waitress was amazing, although I didn't catch her name. She kept asking if we wanted our drinks refilled so we didn't have to go to the bar. The food was absolutely outstanding."

"The wrap itself was soft on top and generously topped with melted cheese, but beneath it was rock hard—not crispy, but tough, as if it had been microwaved first. That part was inedible. The saving grace came from the pots of salsa, sour cream, and guacamole, which added flavor to the meal; otherwise, it would have been a 2 out of 10. Even the tortilla chips were the cheapest available. The side of chips was quite nice, though. My friend's meal included half ribs and chicken wings, but they initially messed up the order and had to send back the first batch. She said it was just okay, but considering the price, the quality of the meat was lacking. I tried a wing and found it overcooked and somewhat tough, with the piri piri sauce being too spicy—buffalo sauce would have been a better fit. The whole experience could have been significantly improved with a bit more care, better ingredients, or a chef who was either more attentive or had a better grasp of Mexican cuisine. Having worked in catering for much of my career, I'm a bit of a tough critic, and honestly, I wouldn't choose to eat here again. On a positive note, the server was very pleasant and professional. Overall, there is definitely room for improvement!"

"If you want to waste your money feel free to order from here. 2 and a half hours for my food to arrive and they say they are having issues with there machine when ordering online. Rang a couple of times for them to tell me my food was on its way and when I rang AGAIN the last call they said we are prepping your order! "The family and I visited the Artisan cafe for a drink following a walk on the moors. . The cafe boasts a convenient location in Darwen town centre, a great selection of drinks, and stylish decor. Service was great thanks to a friendly host, however the cafe itself was very quiet but it was a Sunday so this is likely to be the reason. . Definitely return when walking in and around the Darwen moors. Price per person: £1–10"

"The Resturant was cold the entire time, we were told only to sit in specific seats because there was only two of us, for then couples to sit in those seats anyway. We ordered are food first out of all the people in the resturant, we got given our food last as the waitress gave our food to another couple, they new they had messed up but never told us and just ignored us until we mad an issue of it. We also ordered drinks that never happened until we ordered them again. It has potential but just seems unorganised. P.s Do not get the shakes with spirits, they are expenisve and you do not even notice it, for all I know they didnt even add any."

"I work 5 minutes away from here and go here on a regular basis but not anymore! Friday morning I made a phone order for a HALAL BREAKFAST when I got back to my office and opened up the foil container under my egg I could see a slight piece of something which I lifted the egg, there was BACON underneath!!!!!!! I was disgusted and very disappointed, when I called the cafe to confront them of this, the man apologised saying he had 2 orders and he gave me the wrong one. I said its 's not good enough, he said it had been busy. He didn 't seem too concerned by what had happened and was giggling whilst talking to me. He sent someone over to collect the order off me and gave me the correct one but i have lost my trust in the cafe and i am very disheartened by what has happened. I will not be going there again. YOU HAVE LOST A REGULAR CUSTOMER!"

"Situated in Rufus Court just off northgate street in Chester, Alexander 's has become a much loved live entertainment venue. It has hosted dozens of well known comedians and touring bands over the years and has a great atmosphere where most of the time it is 'standing room only '. Drinks aren 't too expensive and the wine is OK. Not sure about the food, had pitta, houmus and chips not long ago and was disappointed. Doesn 't really feel clean enough to produce nice food! More recently Alexander 's has started to host live music outside in the large courtyard during the Summer. These nights are excellent and fairly cheap for tickets which can be bought on their website."

"Ordered 2 children's meal's which came a lot sooner than all the adult meals. We had already astablished that the chips were not cooked in fish oil beforehand It became apparent that 1 of the child's meal was fish instead of chicken...we told them of this,they did offer to change but the child declined as they'd nearly finished most of the other food on plate and they were embarrassed (it wasn't until her Mum asked that we discovered it was fish) I pointed out to waiter it could have been dangerous as you were already aware of the fish allergy in the party When the adult meals arrived we thought that we'd ordered children's meal in error given the size of them,not very hot to be fair considering how long we had waited but we didn't say anything(all same food) as we just couldn't be bothered with another complaint We had to tell the server twice what we were drinking on arrival and still one drink did not come as requested but couldn't be bothered to wait to have it changed I have to say they did take price of said child's meal off bill. We decided not to have desert and left still hungry and half the party are not even big eaters. "The food took a long time to arrive; we had to inquire about it after noticing that 15 plates were waiting to leave the kitchen. Some members of our party were close to leaving due to the long wait, but an employee informed us it would be just five more minutes. The only restroom available was a disabled toilet, and our original server promised to notify us when it was free, but that never happened. When our food finally arrived, it was decent, but the mac and cheese was nothing like what I had seen on Instagram—it might have suffered from sitting under a heat lamp for too long. I don't blame the kitchen for the delay, but it was disappointing that no one brought the food to our table in a timely manner. It's a shame that our visit did not meet our expectations, especially since we were looking forward to it. Overall, the service put a damper on our experience."

"We arrived at as booked on the Saturday before Christmas. We were taken to the table, given menus and asked what we would like to drink. We chose an Australian Chardonnay from a selection of four or five whites. When the wine arrived we were asked what we would like to order to be told that there was no fish and no steak. Both of which would have been choices for my family. So the choice was burgers or pasta. We considered leaving but decided to stay. It took over an hour for the food to arrive, even though the restaurant was not busy, so we needed another bottle of wine: none left only Sauvignon Blanc When the food did arrive in fairness it was hot and tasty, the service was from a very tired waitress who tried to be helpful. But none of us actually hate what we would have had as a first choice So sorry to the restaurant but no recommendation from me."

"Ordered 2 salad boxes at a cost of £15! Asked for extra ham and extra cheese came with 3 small pieces of something pretending to be ham and small scoop of cheese The other was to be a tuna extra tuna and cheese salad extra cheese and salad cream (came with no cheese or tomato or salad cream) Basically a can of tuna on a bed of lettuce Took an hour to arrive and was terrible!
