"I have often eaten at the Riverside Hotel with no issues. My dinner had to be returned as it was cold when replacement came the chicken was very dry. Also not sure if there were issues with staff shortages but the waiting time to get our meals was quite long. My friend I ordered diet coke but was offered coke zero when I mentioned this was advised no diet coke was available. Would have to say this was the first time we were disappointed."

"The food was delicious but my main complaint was we ordered the Sunday roast we didn't want a starter and would have preferred a sweet. The starters were more expensive so couldn't understand why we couldn't have tge choice. The young male server was inexperienced and didn't know the answer to our questions . I understand that training is ongoing. We really enjoy the food it was just we would have preferred the choice."

"We ordered dinner from this restaurant and noticed something was missing, so we called and they said they would send it to us. Unfortunately, when the food arrived it was not very hot and we had to reheat it in the microwave."
