"we went to lunch. I'm a few times in the years both as a carnivore and vegan. I had the VG chicken in a basket for the first time as vegan, but they get three strips from since then for £14. that's not worth it at all. this time I went with the VG-Tacos, roasted sweet potato. the tacos came out and were served cold. I have read a few reviews and all the others have them cold, so I assume they are served like that, but they should be warm after my thought. I mean my roasted sweet potato means that it will be warm! the sauce on the tacos was not too big, it was like a version of the vegan nando perinaise, but not so good. the other half had garlauchbrot and liked it! next the burgers, I had the generic wg fleshy that I admit, I can do much better at home! I couldn't even taste the relish, or mayo said it was up to me to check even the bungalow. the other half said his side burger was nice. Unfortunately, the chips are not homemade cloby chips as they were earlier. they taste more like frozen, sucking because they have been my favorite thing to dylans! the two tacos cost me £7.95, which was small. I thought they would make a good starter, but I felt they were expensive for what they were. the burgers cost £13/£14, which I thought was what they are, as expensive. the personal must learn to bring salt and vinegar out as standard when there are chips. they ask if they like any sauces, but the fact that the salt and vinegar is not on the table is silly to me? our meal with two appetizers and two burgers, a koss and an apfelsist came to £45. on what it is. people say it's where it is. but I live in the red wharf bay and the restaurants right at the sea here are not so crazy price and if they are to get their money. will not hurry back soon! as someone who lives here permanently, would it be nice to have a few more decisions, a pasta court for example (vegan mac or carbonara) and a tomato base?"

"I adore Dylans and dine here often. The only downside for someone like me who visits frequently is the lack of variety in the menu. Although there have been slight adjustments recently, some fantastic dishes that were available over a year ago, such as their delicious chowder, have not made a comeback. Nevertheless, it remains a fantastic restaurant with delicious food in a lively and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend it!"

"Ordered the Full Vegan Breakfast and my partner ordered the Vegan Stack. Both were very dry and the toast was not "buttered" and the baked bean portion was tiny so that the bread could not make softer or less dry. The sausages were also a bit dry and tasteless. I had a flat white with soy milk for which they calculated extra. I'm not coming back. Updated by previous review on 2022-08-30"

"I typically avoid restaurants that are labeled as gastro, preferring pubs to be more traditional and restaurants to be separate entities. However, The Mark Cross Inn has merged the two, functioning more as a restaurant these days. Despite my initial reservations, I was pleasantly surprised by the tasty food and enjoyable dining experience I had with a group of 8. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was family-friendly and relaxed. Some of the dishes were served in a quirky manner, such as chips in small frying baskets, which I found charming but others in my party found unnecessary. Main dishes ranged from £10-£20, with options like steak burgers and battered cod being more budget-friendly. Overall, I had a lovely meal and would recommend The Mark Cross Inn for a casual lunch or family meal."

"We were not aware that we would be charged for booking our table. This seems very unfair. We will not be booking a table again with the Mark Cross Inn. service was very slow we had to ask more than twice where our drinks were and then again had a long wait for the mains and had an even longer wait for the sweets."

"Harry's is one of the few eat-in takeaway food places that is always good to visit. I have been going there on and off for years because its on my doorstep, despite nearly always busy and with plenty of customers, food preparation takes a reasonable amount of time. A varied menu for any mood, no matter what you fancy Its always hot and tasty and most important reasonably priced. Harry's desserts are nice too, especially the shakes, which are extremely popular with kids and adults alike. The delivery side is a little hit and miss, but if you ever have a complaint it is dealt with professionally and courteously and most importantly to your satisfaction."

"Impossible for words to describe the deliciously scrumptious breakfast these people make. First ordered one to home then went in there to eat. "Found this little gem during lock down it became our regular takeaway on weekends since 2020. Found out recently they have had a refurb and now can eat in!! We couldn’t wait to visit as takeaways have always been bang on from island lounge . To our expectation the dine in experience was so much better if it’s even possible!!!!!! We brought our 10 year old daughter along with us who is a complete foodie and who was so happy during her time here and felt so comfortable they made us feel at home she loved the whole vibe start to finish. the cocktails was amazing and the food was out of this world tried other places in the past hoping for the same quality and experience but was always left disappointed I think I will remain loyal to these guys from now on .. we left full and could not finish everything on our plates (the portions are huge)we was offered to take our left overs home with us but our stomachs could not take anymore in! Even if we tried was ready to explode Honestly the nicest experience and money well spent. My daughter enjoyed the chicken wings we all did. We always play it safe and always order browned stew so definitely can recommend that!! Need to start getting out our comfort zone and trying more items on the menu as I bet we are missing out on so much more!!! We’re already planning our next 1 and going to be coming to one of the bottomless wings and fries on a Wednesday evening so shall be seeing you all again soon once again thank you so much for a lovely night!!!!"

"since the change of property recently, I have dined twice in this Lebanese restaurant. both paintings, my friends and I enjoyed. decor has an authentic feel. very extensive menu for excellent trips. the personal is most helpful, but a little inexperienced, which in no way makes a pleasant experience. that will certainly improve. also very flexible, for example, there was no objection to me to order a meal to be shared by me and a child. has a large spacious interior dining area, additionally space outside the front for those who want to eat and smoke, or just a break and a zigarette that is protected from the elements when needed. how the dishes are prepared at the order, prepare them to wait, especially when all the appetizers are hot. if some nibbles, such as olives etc. were made available, the waiting time would appear less. because the restaurant has no license, they recommend to bring their own wein or beer with you. however, their unusual taste smoothings etc. are delicious and highly recommended try, regardless of byo. a proposed improvement would be better quality, greater serviettes. I want to visit again in any case!"

"such a perfect bar. I am not the biggest fan of Italian style cocktails (prosecco, negronis, etc.) but this place made me appreciate the style and purpose of an aperitif heavy menu. we had several cocktails and two espresso to start our night and could not have enjoyed us anymore! the small crew of the friendly barkeeper brought this personality and joy into the atmosphere. beautiful jazz Christmas music played all the time and the low lighting made it all so damn whimsical cool."
