"We love it at Salvi's and have visited many times over the years. The food and service are always excellent. I always recommend it to friends. Happy to support Salvi's, especially during these trying times. Our visit was in honour of mine and my dad's shared birthday, and it was just lovely to have some quality family time in a warm and welcoming environment. We'll be back!"

"The Thirsty Bear Pub is a refurbished venue on the outskirts of central Reading at the end of Kings Road. This place has bags of character. Spread over 3 floors there is the main ground floor as you enter, up the stairs to the middle floor which serves as an individual venue if required then up again to the roof top terrace which is a lovely little space out in the open air. Chatting to the landlord there are plans to try a DJ in the near future possibly using the entire middle floor. With a lot of potential this could well be an up and coming venue in Reading. Definitely worth checking out. Recommended."
