"went as a birthday treat for a friend. have not been for a long time. liked he change from help yourself buffet to table service. had the full belly menu. good choice of starters, freshly cooked and could order more after your first offering. my...companions had the duck, then we wen on to the mains. plenty of choice. all served fresh, hot with warmed plates, and food bowls put on to heated food warmers. quite full by the time we came to dessert banana fritter and ice cream. Good service, but room could have been a little warmer."
