"I hate to give places bad reviews on customer service because as someone in the service industry myself, I know the stress of it all. However rude service is something to expect of a young worker on minimum wage; not a grown woman who I'm sure manages the place. This is the third occurance of this. First time I put it to a bad day, second time I found it odd but moved on, but given it is the third time the boss was extremely rude and had a very poor attitude towards me – a mere young person who was ordering something small just for myself – I cannot go with saying nothing. The food here is absolutely wonderful which is why I continue to return, but I much prefer ordering via delivery due to the rudeness of this worker. She always has a nasty tone, roles her eyes, raises her voice if you aren't sure what you're ordering yet (even if there is no queue, and also seems to be quite harsh to the young worker that was helping her behind the counter. There are countless reviews stating the exact same thing, so I know I'm not alone with this. I have never reviewed anything before but it had to come to this. I really hope she fixes her attitude or at least assigns someone much more patient on the till so innocent customers don't have to deal with her snark. Again, cannot fault the food though! 10/10 food. 1/10 customer service."

"We are a darts doms group been friends for years two of the girls was 60 and two was 70 so for 6 months we planned our birthdays We saw viva and we thought that's would great for birthday party how wronge we were got there at 6 30 asked for drinks then from here all went wronge drinks took ages to come no ice then the starters came I had the mushrooms you guessed was cold the at 7 50 meal came lamb shank was okay veg was cold and hard mash was like cement then they decided to turn lights of we had to use our phone light what made it worse show didn't start for 20 mins we left our meals couldn't get any body attention to complain put you wouldn't because they definitely short of staff plates was left on our table for hour and half it was making me feeling sick looking at dirty plates ordered cake and champagne for the birthday girls came at end of night plus we booked a table for 9 then later decided to put 2 strangers on our table if you ask me they overbooked a lot of hard work went in to our special birthday and all I can say to viva a big thanks for making our birthdays night from hell if you are reading this to me a big favour don't go I definitely won't let'this dropp my mission is to let everybody know what we went through and please avoid"

"I had recently moved to Finedon and we went for a family meal on a Sunday! The roast dinners are amazing!! The food was really lovely including the starters we had, I went for pate and it was great and perfect amount. We all had a large roast and honestly after couldn’t eat another thing, this was a little sad as I saw the dessert menu and going by the rest of the food I have high hopes!! We can’t wait to go back and try something different, including the desserts!!"

"Staff are very good, helpful and polite. Surroundings are clean and bright with a retro American feel. The burgers are average in size and taste, they are served on a plastic tray with the accompanying fries spread across the tray on a piece of paper, for the price paid I would have preferred a plate(even at fast food outlets you get a disposable box, not just a plastic tray). The trays had water drops on them, I can only assume that they had been cleaned and not dried properly, either way does not seem very hygienic. The chicken is very processed to the point that it has a pressed wood texture and pretty tasteless. I can only say that this place is average."

"Booked onto the tour with afternoon tea. The tour was very interesting and our guide made it interesting and amusing. He also took time out after the tour to start up the bottling machine so I could see how it worked (yes I'm sad! The afternoon tea was lovely with plenty to eat along with a glass of prosecco. We were fortunate that it was a beautiful day so could sit, eat, drink and enjoy the marvellous views."

"I celebrated my 50th birthday at Flywood last night. The staff, especially Pablo, went above and beyond to accommodate me and my guests. The atmosphere and food were of exceptional quality, and everyone remarked on what a wonderful evening it was. "Stopped by here on the way home. The place was empty but the kids corner was a bonus for us and kept our 3 yr old son happy! Menu doesn't have much choice but the food was delicious! We had chicken burger and an old Smokey burger. No complaints! Staff and punters were friendly an we will definitely be back again. I dont know why there wasn't more publicity about this place as it defo needs it. Come here if u like no no fuss good pub grub and a place for the kids to play."
