"In the very high quality Brighton burger championships, the champions are Burger Brothers and the Trolls Pantry. Some friends and I were looking for somewhere different and came across Burger Kult at their current location of The Mash Tun. The pun is quite small inside but very popular with a great outside seating area. The beer choice is a bit limited but we came here to eat. We chose four different types of burger between the five of us. The beef burger itself is nice enough but not up to the quality of BB or Troll. The toppings though are very good, well balanced in both flavour and portion. There is a lot of variety to keep all but the fussiest of eaters with something they should like. The fries that come with the burger are nice and crispy with a good level of salt on already. If they improve the quality of the patty itself maybe a slightly bigger size so that it is thicker then they could be real contenders. The final comment goes to the bar staff. The ladies behind the bar were very friendly to a group who were generally a little older than their usual clientele and the service was excellent."
