"I’m embarrassed that in 2020 I still have to mention this but, I was out walking on 25/07/20. I urgently needed the loo. I’ve often faced this problem and I’ve put it down to my ethnic appearance (Jamaican), but I get refused to use loos when passing pubs, shops and restaurants so often, yet my wife, who’s Caucasian has NEVER been refused. I went to this pub wholly expecting to be turned away (which would mean another bus ride home for an old man with legs crossed), and the gentleman at the door, couldn’t have been more courteous and accommodating.
