"Not sure when this place changed hands but it’s NOTHING like it used to be. The food was average at best. They used to bake their own amazing crusty bread on site this time we were given slices of toast and charged for the pleasure. The roast was very boring the roast potatoes had clearly been reheated. The service was very poor. The staff used to be so warm and welcoming. This time we felt like we were an inconvenience to them. There were glasses piling up on the bar and they stayed there until we left. This used to be one of our favourite places to spend a Friday evening with a steak and a bottle of red but now I wouldn’t bother! Such a shame"
