"best pizza in london! fantastic pizza in a beautiful rustic restaurant, including sitting outdoors. there is a large selection of pizzas, pasta and main dishes, as well as appetizers and snacks. the teig was thin and crispy, not soggy at all, and the beats were delicious, thin cut, just like a good pizza should be. served with a beautiful free starter of brot and oliven. service was friendly and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable. "After needing a quick car repair in Portslade, we found ourselves with an hour to spare. With our two children and dog in tow on a scorching day, we were in desperate need of breakfast and drinks. The nearest option was a small cafe that didn't look too appealing from the outside. However, with our time constraints and hunger pangs, we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, the food at this cafe exceeded our expectations and surpassed its unassuming appearance. They offered a variety of options for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten sensitivity, in addition to the usual bacon sandwich. The freshly prepared food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were so reasonable that I am willing to make a special trip just to try more of their dishes in the future. Even our children enjoyed their meals. If you find yourself in Portslade, near Brighton, I highly recommend giving this cafe a chance."

"Really enjoyed our meal at the stag, we all ordered from the specials board as the full menu is not on offer on a Sunday. All our food was delicious and we will definitely be returning. Staff were attentive and couldn't fault the service. Only complaint if I had to be picky was that my reservation wasn't showing?? Fortunately this wasn't an issue at the time we dined as there were spare tables."

"Was so pleased with my meal here! The lasagne was served without a single sign of grease, the spag bowl was just the right amount for a large eater, and the stone oven garlic bread pizza was spot on. The prices are very reasonable for...the location, the lasagne that's served at my work in Devon is almost double the price. My dad, a very fussy eater, was very pleased and had zero complaints (unheard of Service was quick and spot on!"

"First of all, love Paesan. Great location on Exmouth Market, nice decor, always a good menu. BUT, two things: The menu is SO hard to read. Yes, my eyes are not great after a long, stressful week, but the menu is written in the tiniest font I've ever seen, and in dim light I had no choice but to embarass myself in front of my date using my phone to magnify the text. Can you PLEASE consider bigger text? Our waiter was nice but his English was terrible. Everything I said I had to repeat myself three times. Actual quotes: Me: Hi there, we're ready to order Him: More water, yes ok Me: No, ready to order. Food. We're ready to order food Him: Oh ready to order what would you like Me: She would like the sea bream Him: The chicken? Okay one chicken Me: No, the sea bream Him: Looks confused at the menu Me: Points to the sea bream item the sea bream, here Him: Ah okay, the sea bream Me: And I will order the same thing Him: Okay, sea bream to share, thank you *turns and walks away* Me to date: Did he just say to share Date: Yeah, he definitely did Me, getting up and walking back to the kitchen: We want two orders of sea bream, right Him: AH!
