"Great food, friendly service and excellent value. After visiting the theatre on a Friday night we found that this was the only restaurant still open in the area (it was only 10pm). The staff were very friendly, the food arrived relatively quickly, and was delicious. All the staff seemed very friendly and keen to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend."

"I have been using this takeaway on a regular basis for over 3 years. In that time I have gradually worked my way through a lot of the menu. I have never had a meal which has been less than excellent. The Dansak in particular is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful, always happy to suggest a new dish or advise on flavours. I often have a delivery and the food is always piping hot and fresh. It has never been later than the advised delivery time. In a word,brilliant. I highly recommend this business. Well done lads."

"I visited Tuki's Indian Takeaway for the first time and found it to be a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. The naans were probably the best I’ve had in Redditch—perfectly balanced, not too thick and not too thin. The chicken curry was delightful as well. As someone of Indian heritage, I can confidently say it was a wonderful experience. Will I return? Absolutely!"

"The signature dishes at this restaurant are truly incredible and some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The chef is very talented. However, I am deducting 1 star because the man at the counter is rude and unprofessional with customers. Whenever I order through JustEat, he scolds me like I'm a misbehaving child and insists I should order directly from the restaurant because it would be cheaper (which is not true, the prices are the same or even higher when I call in). He is visibly frustrated by JustEat and takes it out on the customers. His behavior is unacceptable and I am considering not returning."

"My partner and I often visit Rye for a day out and we have now made this place our go-to place for lunch. The staff in there are lovely and the supervisors are so very kind and understanding with them. The food is simple fayre...which you must expect given what it is set up for. We’ve always had great service and food. Those complaining below must understand that you need to be just a little bit more patient and tolerant. It’s not the Ivy and was never meant to be so. It’s a great little venture and long may it prosper."

"Friendly, fast and accommodating! Went in for dinner and chose my go to dish, the chef asked me if I wanted a sample before I ordered who can say no to that offer? I was ordering takeout and while I was waiting I was offered a can of diet coke gratis. Not many places like this left unfortunately. Will definitely come back! "Has Something has changed at SHAPLA??..... I think so, and for the good of Moulsham! I ordered about 10 items including 2 mains, 3 sides, onion Bhaji and bread. This is probably the 6th or 7th curry I’ve taken away from here over a few years. I’ve always found it decent but no more. The staff and owners have been friendly a s courteous but the food has never been stand out to me. Until this time..IF THIS IS THE NEW STANDARD COUNT ME IN! There’s a sense of establishment about the place where traditions and skills are passed down to the young lot and so forth. And it feels, from tasting the various dishes that I ordered, that they’ve hit onto good times in the kitchen and throughout. My point is.... every dish was WELL EXECUTED. The chicken Tikka in the Dhansak was big, tender, colourful and tasted like char grilled properly. the Dhansak (without sugar as requested) was perfect, thick wet consistency with a myriad of flavours exploding in the mouth at every bite. And the vindaloo hot, tandoori chicken sashlik balti was wonderful with its mix of char singed onions and broken up pieces of tandoori chicken kicking out some serious heat on the firm. All sides were banging sag paneer was sweet coconuts and creamy cheese business. The onion Bhajiis reminded of the street food in Chandigarh when I visited once. But the standout for me was the sag aloo which was well balanced in its seasoning and freshness. A complete triumph! Let me tell ya, that doesn’t happen very often. Please please SHAPLA keep up the high standard and I’ll forever be your friend. Thank you, Chad"

"It's unfortunate that this restaurant has potential with its tasty food, but the service is severely lacking. In the five times we've ordered, our food was delivered incorrectly each time. The first time I arranged for collection, they hadn't even checked their online orders. The second collection went smoothly, but the third time, our order was wrong again. The premises appear unhygienic, and the staff do not seem to be taking any precautions for COVID-19, such as wearing masks or gloves. Unfortunately, despite the good food, the lack of proper hygiene standards and accuracy in orders make it unlikely that we will return. Out of the eight times we've visited, we've only had a satisfactory experience once."

The service and customer care at Spice Island is exemplary. Spice Island claim to be the best Indian restaurant in Islington. "Hidden below street level, this restaurant is as one keen reviewer eloquently put it 'a tourist trap ' for nearby visitors to the museums of South Kensington. In essence it hosts an expensive menu with average tasting food. I 'm sure they 're only surviving because of a guaranteed minimum level of customers who 'll unwittingly stroll in without heeding the warnings of these reviews. In the restaurant 's defence, the decor is homely and the service from staff is very attentive indeed I was asked by two separate staff during my meal whether everything was okay which felt a bit parental but mostly non threatening all the same. I 'd gone for the margherita pizza which at £7 seemed like a bargain. You could easily get full on this, despite tasting rather bland. However, I was feeling somewhat adventurous and decided to add pickled artichokes (nope, not fresh) and mushrooms as toppings for £1.50 extra each. Thinking this wouldn 't be enough, I included a side of spinach into the mix for £5: what I was served with was a small bowl of half boiled baby spinach leaves really should 've been another pizza topping as that 's what it turned into. Overall, disappointingly average, and they 'll include a service charge because they expect you to be one of many money donning tourists sprinkling cash in the already hideously wealthy area. Try your appetite resolving luck elsewhere."

"Very disappointed, their 'Fried Chicken ': Served with french fries, peas, tomatoes mushroom came as just chips and dry fried chicken. When I immediately called them to bring it up they said they would give me something extra free on my next order. This is presuming I 'm going to give them another order having not given me what I paid for on this order, and also, not actually promising me anything extra, as I paid for it this order! Perhaps this is because I didn 't order through just-eat as I know just-eat take a cut, however having signed up for their website I now regret it, and am having second thoughts about ordering from them again. Had I ordered through just-eat I would also have left them a disappointed review there."

"Mayfair Chippy is on our list of must-dos when we are in London. The food is straightforward, but excellent. Easily the best fish and chips you will ever eat. The beetroot salad is something I am still thinking about. Working with the staff on our reservation was very easy, and they took care of everything. We noticed a very long line of very well-dressed customers out front trying to get in, and were glad we had made reservations well in advance. The service team are delightful and efficient. We had children with us, and the Mayfair Chippy team were super accommodating of their needs. Just a wonderful visit all around."

"I celebrated my birthday with four friends at an Indian restaurant and chose Magna for the occasion. Having been there a few times before, I knew they would not disappoint. We ordered 2 lamb korai dishes, one lamb jalfrezi, and a chicken dish. The food was incredible - the mix of flavors in the korai was mind-blowing, the jalfrezi was hot and fiery just as it should be, and the peshwari nan bread helped dial down the heat. The restaurant staff were attentive and polite, ensuring we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for their house special dishes like the Lamb gosht (korai) served in a cast iron dish. I also ordered takeaway that evening and the food still looked amazing! Thank you Magna for a fantastic meal and evening!"
