"I regret to say that I cannot recommend Cafe Football to anyone after my experience there. I was extremely dissatisfied with the service, the food, and the overall attitude of the staff. The so-called manager, Gabrielle, was rude from the moment we arrived. We had booked a table for the FA Cup final but were informed that we had less than two hours to eat and could not extend our stay. The waiters seemed clueless and were unable to comprehend why we wanted drinks after waiting for half an hour. It is basic human rights to be able to order a drink in a restaurant. The starters were subpar and questionable, and the main dishes we ordered were not what we had requested. When I asked the manager about this, she was dismissive and unhelpful. Overall, my experience at Cafe Football was so disappointing that I will not be returning, even if someone paid me. I will be contacting trading standards as we found dirty utensils and glasses on our table and received no apology from the staff. It is clear that there is a lack of care from all the staff at Cafe Football. I request that the restaurant be informed of my feedback as I am eager to hear their response."
