"We were at The Ned celebrating my sons 21st birthday. He wanted to go to the brunch buffet but unfortunately it was fully booked despite trying to make a reservation weeks in advance, so, we booked the American diner instead as my son really wanted to go The Ned so I thought this would be a good compromise. Underwhelming it was. A very limited unimaginative menu and very little atmosphere. At 2pm Sunday most of the tables were empty (all in the brunch I guess) . The food was very mediocre, no better than any other burger/rib restaurant I've been to, and despite me advising in advance we were there for a special occasion nobody made an effort to make my son feel special on his birthday other than the onligatory brownie with a candle brought to the table at the end of the meal... but brought to us while he wasn't even sitting there as he'd poppedto the bathroom!! Overall very disappointing and especially more so because despite it being quiet so really no excuses, nobody went out of their way to make our experience memorable in any way. Disappointing to say the least Ned."

"The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic. We were among the first guests to arrive at 7 PM on a Saturday, and by the time we left at 8:30 PM, the place was packed. The service was exceptional; the waitresses were both friendly and attentive. The meals arrived at a nice pace, and we really enjoyed sharing everything. The food was incredibly delicious—I can't recommend the chicken and cauliflower dishes highly enough. I can already tell I’ll be returning frequently, and I can’t wait to bring all my friends who visit!"
