"An excellent traditional restaurant that is a delight to visit. The tables are beautifully set with linen tablecloths and napkins, and even hand towels are provided in the restrooms. The service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. However, the highlight of the visit is undoubtedly the food. We opted for the Friday night menu, where each dish offered a unique twist on the usual selections. All the appetizers we tried were outstanding. For the main course, I particularly enjoyed the mercer pie, which featured a flavorful combination of steak and mushrooms encased in a delicate pancake, served alongside roasted potatoes and baby carrots. Two of us chose hot desserts, while the two gentlemen at our table were too full and instead decided to go for ice cream. We shared a bottle of Prosecco and one of Malbec among the four of us, and our total came to £28, plus service."
