"We were looking for somewhere for a bite one rainy night after visiting Tate Modern unfortunately wish we'd eaten elsewhere. The food prices were pretty reasonable/service was good but the food itself wasn't. Both entrees were really ordinary samosas likely came from frozen packet (and even then not cooked evenly), onion bhaji greasy and sweet both sitting in sweet yogurt which ruined taste. Tandoori chicken was OK (probably the best part of meal), however pretty sure it didn't come from a proper tandoor oven. Beef curry (Madras was really ordinary not authentic tasting felt like it was something you'd get at a pub and not an Indian restaurant."

"The food was excellent, but it was odd that we had to order poppadoms by the portion. We were served by a new waitress who was very helpful in suggesting a curry similar to a Madras. Will definitely visit again when in the area. The curry house is great and the best in the Torbay area."
