"This was our first visit to the Grosvenor Arms but it won't be our last. We arrived earlier than expected for our table so we took ourselves off to the Hotel bar. Wow, that was really great! Drinks menu brought to us and ordered drinks followed. We just sat there and it was all brought to us. When we went to the restaurant we were attended to most diligently by the staff. They were professional, helpful and efficient. The food offering was different from the norm I had mushroom and celeriac pie and tasty and the wine was delicious! My husband had the menu deal which included a glass of house wine, whilst my friend and I chose from the A La Carte. After finishing our meal we took ourselves back to the hotel bar and had another round of drinks which lasted us till closing time. All in all a delightful and enjoyable experience which we will repeat next time we are in the neighbourhood. We might even stay at the hotel rather than our usual hostelry,"
