"Menu very limited, would have liked more meat and fish choices, also more vegetarian and rice dishes. Plenty of outside space was wonderful and choice of tables was lovely. However the table we were first shown to was overwhelmed with a disgusting smell from liquid presumably overflowing from blocked drains, which unfortunately ruined the enjoyment of our main meal, which we mentioned on several occasions, and were assured that repairs were in hand. We insisted on moving away from the reek for our desserts and had a lovely table in the garden. Staff were polite friendly and timely on the whole. Would visit again if menu was made more comprehensive and plumbing problems were resolved. A discount/refund for the inevitable spoiling of our dining experience would be appreciated, as our senses of smell and therefore taste were obviously negatively impacted."
