The negatives are that the service was poor very young staff seemed to enjoy chatting behind the bar rather than serving, consequently all our roasts took ages to arrive and were luke warm. Equally the desert rhubarb crumble was Luke warm and the rhubarb was not properly cooked. Could it have lived up to the earlier reviews? My answer is probably yes, but would I go go there again, that’s a hard one to answer, but probably not. Why because standards are normally ingrained and it shouldn’t be hit or miss.
