"I am so happy that we chose the Belfry. The Ryder Grill had such a lovely and festive atmosphere and had a great lay out. It was absolutely magical. I chose the tandoori cauliflour and it was delicious ... compliments to the chef. The kids buffet has it's own section of the restaurant and my son who is usually a fussy eater was in awe. Our waiter Alex was well mannered and efficient. When I made him aware I was a vegetarian he made me aware of the vegan menu and brought this out more or less straight away. He was also keen to explain local activities in the area. His communication skills with both my 6 year old son and I were great !! The lady with the cool glasses (didn't catch her name) was also lovely and came over to our table to chat to us and made us feel very welcome. She informed us about activities on site and directed us accordinly. We felt welcomed from start to finish. Thank you to everybody at the Ryder."

"I made a reservation for the top-rated restaurant near the festival hall as we were attending a show in the evening. I am thrilled that we chose this place - the food was delicious albeit a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the quality. I would love to come back again. The cheese soufflé was absolutely amazing, and I even tried the pistachio one for dessert! Both my husband and I agreed that all three courses were very tasty and beautifully presented. We highly recommend this place. We wish there was one in the Cambridge/Saffron Walden area so we could enjoy it at home!"
