"My experience at the restaurant felt quite impersonal. There was no atmosphere whatsoever, and the place appeared old and in need of a makeover. We had to wait nearly an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. Additionally, the table we were seated at was quite dirty."

"The decoration was great... That's pretty much that. The food was a tasteless mixture in between cement and disgust. The nachos were horrible, the cheese wasn't even melted at all. After 2 minutes on the table the cheese started to cut up and to form small balls of cheese. When we told the waitress she said that she will pass the message to the kitchen, and that's it. The Mac n cheese had crumps of something very funny looking on top, as long as I remember it wasn't mention on the menu, and to be honest, a pinch of salt would have save it, maybe. The burgers were floating, like literally floating in oil, and the bacon was falling in pieces on the plate. The worst part was that the Yates in front of us was full of people while this place was fully empty, we could have spent our 28 pounds there instead."

"We ordered takeout for New Year's Eve, which also happened to be my husband's 65th birthday. I must say that we have had many delicious takeout meals from this restaurant throughout the past year. However, unfortunately, this time was a huge disappointment. The onion bhajis were decent, but not as tasty as usual. The mushroom rice was okay, but the chicken tikka korma was absolutely inedible. The sauce was watery and tasted only of milk, with chicken that did not seem to be tikka. The lamb madras was also inedible, with very fatty meat and an overpowering cumin flavor in the sauce. The roti bread was raw in the middle. Everything was cold and took 45 minutes to heat up in the oven. We only took a few bites of each dish because they were so bad. Please improve the quality of your food, Viceroy, especially on special occasions like this. We will be looking for another restaurant for our next takeout order."

"I ordered 2 large pizzas for delivery. The delivery was quick, the delivery driver was friendly, and when the pizzas arrived, they were amazing! I usually don't order pizza from this place, but I'm so glad I did. The pizza was hot and tasted fresh, unlike some other places. It was incredibly delicious! "Pro 's We were seated promptly after a long trip. The food was served quickly, and tasted nice. The Portion sizes were on the big size, which is always appreciated. Cons There were 11 of us in total and they gave us 6 menus, 2 of which had pages missing. Our order was taken using a mobile phone. Which meant a main was missed off. They gave us our starters but no drinks. They served one of the mains and asked is that all? Made us think that that 's all she 'd wrote down. They started serving mains, without clearing the boards the starters were served on. They came with one drink and said we 'll bring the rest but the waiter sat back down and the drinks didn 't arrive until all the mains had came out. When the waitress realised she 'd forgotten to get some crayons for the Kids she proceeded to swear quite loudly, normally it wouldn 't be an issue, but there were 3 young children at with us. Conclusion As nice as the food was, the level of service was disappointing."

"with my kumpels for a couple of beers flying out and held here for a quick bite. the ordering process is simple, where they choose the bowl/wrap and then the meat/gift followed by the sauce. the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. the personal was really friendly and was happy to have made a picture for my review. very impressed and I would definitely recommend eating here."

"Upon entering, we informed the staff that we had a reservation, but they appeared disinterested and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant felt unwelcoming. I also noticed that there were packs of canned drinks stacked to one side, as if they hadn't made any effort to tidy up. At that moment, we decided not to stay and opted to go to a different restaurant instead."

"Where can the current menu be found ? Update 6/12/23 Called in for lunch yesterday around 13.30 had trouble finding a parking space, luckily a couple who were shopping across the road, not from the Red Lion went back to their car and vacated the space for us to pull into. That was one hurdle over, walked into the pub expecting it to be packed solid due to the volume of vehicles in the car park only to find a handful of locals at the bar. Tables and chairs were plentiful, but no sign of any food about, being eaten or otherwise, no sign of cutlery, condiments or anything else that implied food was for sale. Previous reveuwee’s state nice food and give high scores , fail to understand this. To all intense and purposes this was a pub and nothing else even though there was a sandwich board at the roadside,needless to say we left and had a nice all day English Breakfast at The Cabin B o C. So really you did us a favour."

"Great western breakfest egg, beans, toast, black pudding, square, poatoe scone, 2 slices bacon, tomato coca cola in a bottle to sit in.. 12.50£ ! Price for That is a criminal. Food wasnt nothing special. Service never ask about anything.. there is a big board on the Wall with menu without prices. You order something But you have no idea how much you will spend money on that. I still dont know how much was breakfest cost But i dont care right now because i never back to this place. On sauchiehall Street there is a same food for half prices. Any big breakfest anywhere is a cost about 6 pounds maximum with a drink."

"Restaurant not even half full on a dry Saturday evening but still noisy as voices echoed around the room. Felt service and amount/quantity of food supplied very limited due to having a Groupon voucher. Other customers had fuller plates of food, with a little salad on the plate to liven up dishes. Small steak and very small side of chips and that was it, no extras. Dessert sounded ok but mine was 2 scoops of ice-cream with 4 little chocolate truffles on the side. Also with the large service charge on drinks, didn't make for a reasonable night out with friends."
