"excellent pub, a very good selection of real ales and more. the bar staff is beautiful and there is a great atmosphere. beautiful toastia log burner with arthur the dog relaxing from it. beautiful enclosed garden with good child facilities, next to the canal at the front! a handsome small food shop that is unique when they are on their boat! always comes!"

"Ate at Uplands for the first time last Sunday, the roast was delicious, as was the thai fish cake starter and the sticky toffee pudd for dessert was just scrumptious.... Service was great. Although we have been in for drinks a few times our first dining experience was lovely and we will be taking friends and family next time definitely. Thank you."
