"On the occasion of Valentine's Day, we wanted to pamper ourselves and chose the restaurant Michaelis. Other locations from the outstanding Michaelis universe we had already kenngelernt and in good memory; now the newly rebuilt and redesigned restaurant Michaelis was on the line. We opted for a menu, complemented it with water, juice, alcohol-free longdrink and a milk coffee, and wished us a ten card for this restaurant after greeting from the kitchen. At the Edne it really didn't matter what we had on our plates: compilation, preparation, presentation and taste conjured us a permanent smile into the heart, and the really great service served us flink, attentive, at eye level and all around. Even days later, this smile has not disappeared and is just after occasional repetitions. For menue prices between 43 and 49 euros, what you have to pay as a guest for this great performance is a real bargain price and every cent worth. Therefore, a very warm thank you for these beautiful hours in a pleasant atmosphere with very tasty foods and drinks here, even a sixth star would not be exaggerated!"

"It's a shame that I have to give the place 1 star. Went when it was Marco Pierre White, wasn't massively impressed. It changed to Arnold's- lovely restaurant. Quality place, good food, excellent service. Haven't been there for a while so decided to go at the last minute. OH!! It seems ownership has changed. It's more like the equivalent of travelodge for food! 2 staff serving at a peak period. 1 till point. Staff clearly have no experience. Food took FOREVER!! Don't even serve coffee! They went and got coffee from a machine in the hotel!! Brought mains and starters at the same time. Brought soup without a spoon! Peas served with the fish pie had been poured from a tin into a bowl and were sat in the water cold. The chicken had been petrified and cooked to a crackle. Given that the food could only reasonably compete with that of an airline this is a task within itself. Poor selection of drinks. Needless to say, a restaurant I enjoyed eating at had disappeared into the mist and instead replaced with something indescribable I will not return. On the plus side, the furniture is nice, clean and it's a relatively chilled' environment if only the restaurant complimented it. They could have at least changed the name again! What a disaster!!!"

"The OLIVE CROWN Restaurant is a excellent Greek Mediterranean influenced Tapas style menu means the choice is there to make it as big or small a meal as you might wish. Very beautiful and clean place with a lovely front garden. Exceptional nice and welcoming service. Really good Greek food cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, Everything we chose was delicious, the service was excellent and the location of the restaurant is perfect in the heart of Clapham Common South side next to a Park. We have been before and would certainly return again and again 10/10 , Thank you"

"The manager at this restaurant is the rudest and most confrontational I have ever encountered. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to the manager's extremely unpleasant behavior. After leaving a review on another website about our negative experiences with their Saturday opening hours, we decided to give them another chance. However, when we arrived, the manager recognized us from a previous incident where they closed early, and proceeded to seat us, give us menus, and make sarcastic comments. He then rudely confronted us about our review, insinuating that it was our fault. I have never been spoken to in such a disrespectful manner, and this was the worst customer experience I have ever had. The manager's behavior created such a hostile atmosphere that we decided not to eat there, and he even mentioned that he was not going to serve us because of our review (which was solely about their opening hours, not the food or service). It appeared that all he wanted was an argument, and I am appalled by how he treats customers. I am very disappointed in the service we received."
