"gows is part of the extensive balls brothers group, whose website boasts that our legendary gows oyster restaurant and bar has been serving the best meal times in the city for years, suggesting that gows began today in the old broad street in my experience, but was terribly disappointing. Opening times are shown as for the oyster bar and in the evening for the restaurant. as an early booker on the square I chose the oyster bar, but when I tried to order food, it was said that the kitchen was not opened before, so I had to wait until then to order. "I enjoyed my visit to NYX. The place looks good with a fab vibe. I found the staff were attentive and helpful. I decided to try something different from my norm and went for the tequila prawn toastada. Really enjoyed it! Their cocktails looked good. I went for the Fizzy Lizzy which was great"

"Very disappointed with the whole experience, we chose the restaurant on the menu that was shown on open table app, however on arrival this menu was not a available and the overall choice was very poor. On arrival at the restaurant our reservation had not be received from the open table booking but they were able to accommodate us, the staff to customer ratio was very low making the service very slow and confused at times. The food when arrived, (we all took the steaks),was tasty but the accompaniments were very disappointing, only cherry tomatoes, no other vegetables or side orders available. In summary a very disappointing meal at £60 a head, the restaurant is living off the name and not off the service or food, we will not be going back."

"I've been in the jewel bar a few times, usually for happy hour and it always has a great atmosphere. it is perfect for after-work drinks when they are looking to relax and have some fun. the cocktail is amazing and if they have luck having a table nab, they offer table service that can be practical as it saves them time queuing at the bar. if not if there is a bar on the front as they come or one on the back (but sometimes this can be closed for private functions.) I would definitely recommend to try pornstar martini if they like fruity cocktails as they are delicious. if they have something stronger, they have an extensive cocktail menu as well as the usual beer, wein and spirituosen. when they get a bit of a peckish, they also make a bar food menu, the chicken keres and tempura garnel are both very delicious. in the interior of the decor is amazing with dimm lighting, candles, chandeliers, elaborate mirror and painting on the wall. I would definitely recommend trying out jewel bar if they are ever in the opposite after work, as it has a great mood."
