"This was a birthday lunch, on a cold but sunny day. The place was warm with two large log Fires either end. Having pre booked we were immediately greeted and ordered drinks. The service throughout was attentive and efficient. The food was of good quality. Compared to 2 other pub/restaurants in the area, the standard was way above. We hope to visit again before the holidaymakers come to Dorset. I recommend The Worlds End."

"The Jekyll Hyde had advertised that they were under new ownership so we booked lunch there. We had not been near the place since August 2015 when a rare, family get together had been spoiled by poor service. The lunch was for my partner and I to celebrate my Birthday so I was taking a risk. When I booked I didn’t advise it was a special occasion. I am delighted we took the risk as we had a three course meal (starters of Tiger Prawns and Whitebait both delicious which was very tasty and were served by friendly and professional staff. The new owner came over to speak to us which was appreciated. We will be returning as we feel this place is now in capable hands :"
