"I was really disappointed with my experience at the restaurant. I noted in my reservation that we needed a high chair, but we were initially seated at a high table, leaving my daughter sitting below us, not at the table. After about 10 minutes, we were moved to a more appropriate table. My 5-year-old son has coeliac disease and follows a strict gluten-free diet, which was one of the reasons we chose Ed's. However, when we asked for the gluten-free menu, we were informed that the gluten-free fryers were off, so he couldn't have chips. This was disappointing because he had to settle for beans instead. It was clear that the restaurant was understaffed for a Saturday afternoon. On a positive note, the woman who greeted us was very nice and seemed to be doing her best."

"This was not our first visit,we went on a Saturday night, there was live music and after us became very busy. The music level was a bit too loud. We ordered our food, unfortunately the lamb shank was off the menu, so chose an alternative, my husbandâs arrived but mine after he had nearly finished and I had finally caught the waitresses eye! When she arrived with it, she said it was very busy but would remove the side salads from the bill. So my true reply would yes/no to recommend as would think twice about rebooking"

"a traditional English pub with modern flair. they have a good selection of their favorite tips with a particularly good selection of gins. also one has to try is a flight from some of the national and local ales. they have the biggest hits of the British kitchen, fish and chips, steak and ale cake and the scotch ei. If they never had a scotch egg, they have to try. if they miss a vacation and diet, they try the brotpudding, fantastic! they also have a selection of salads. the goat is very beautiful. the pub is family friendly and dog friendly. they will even put out a bowl for their dogs. the personal is friendly and eager to serve them. a great place to see old friends and make new ones. almost forgotten to mention, the sunday roast is a must!"

"We had booked for the two Course menu as two families of four. Amazing value for money and food of high standard. Our waiter was outstanding. Made the experience. "We loved our bottomless lunch for the bonfire night when we also celebrated our parent's wedding anniversary. For the starter, we went for the pate parfait here we asked for additional toast as the plate had only two very small and thin toast once this was provided the dish was perfect . I loved the fish and hubby was pleasantly surprised how good the beef was : . We found it a bit strange and awkward that we were asked to pay fully before the day that even if the booking was made direct which is how I have attempted to do, gone to open table website just because someone from the restaurant failed to call to confirm the booking as their diary wouldn t allow it . In total, the lunch was the lovely, friendly staff, tasty food. The coffee is not recommended get a dessert wine instead : . Beautiful venue, the reason we have organised our daughter s christening here. The fireworks average, Stoke Park Hotel and other places were better, however, they did try and had two lovely fire ladies doing some nice moves."

"I canât say much about the place other than that it was a disappointing visit. I was looking for a restaurant near the river to take some colleagues for lunch, and when I arrived at 1:30 PM, I could hear babies crying from a hundred yards away! There was no indication of this beforehand, and I was really relieved that I checked it out first. This place is definitely not suitable for a work lunch."

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable, especially for the delicious steaks. The owner was wonderful and they even offer happy hour drinks, making it a great spot to relax with friends after work. I will definitely be returning in the future!"

"I don't bother to review unless the experience is extremely unsatisfactory or highly pleasing. Happy to say this fell into the latter. Been craving for some burger, decided to go on a Thursday night to find the place totally empty. Still sceptical, was looking at the menu, when a friendly chap greeted us. There are good options for non-veg(beef/chicken) and veg burgers and wraps. We decided on a avo-chicken and a farm house veg burger for my partner. With little expectations we waited for our food, but pleasantly surprised when it arrived in huge portions. The chicken was perfectly grilled with good flavours of parsley and herbs which I enjoyed, seemed to be a Turkish/mid eastern take on chicken patty. The veg burger was also delectable with fried cheese. The chips were super crispy and batter fried with proper seasonings. While waiting, there were quite a few takeaways, so wasn't that empy after all. In all we had a very satisfied meal, very much recommended."

"I felt compelled to share my experience because I can't understand why this place has such low ratings. As a local, it's one of my and my friends' favorite spots for coffee and brunch. The food is fantasticâIâve tried various sandwiches and other dishes, but my absolute favorite has to be the brunch options, especially the rustic eggs and the verde eggs. And donât miss out on the delicious pancakes in a labi style! The drink menu is also impressive, featuring freshly squeezed juices and excellent coffee and tea. For dessert, you have to try their homemade red velvet cakeâitâs simply the best! The only downside is that the service can be a bit slow when theyâre busy. However, the organic and healthy food, along with the friendly staff, make it all worthwhile."

"The staff are young, very pleasant and attentive. The food is very tasty but the portion size is very small so I feel ÂŁ15.50 for the chicken dish I had was overpriced. Unfortunately the dessert portions are small as well. I canât remember leaving a restaurant before still feeling hungry. This restaurant also does not accept cash which was not explained when we booked the table or when we ordered our meals. There is just one small sticker on the door as you enter."

"We were able to secure a table for two by the window on short notice at Salieri's. It was a pleasant and relaxed lunch experience. The restaurant has a charming decor and a fantastic location, right across from the Savoy. Sitting by the window provides a great opportunity for people-watching. The service was a bit slow and our waiter seemed flustered at times. I was also told that the olives were pitted when they were not. The menu is simple and the food is straightforward, which I appreciated. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Salieri's to anyone in the area."

"Food was severely lacking in flavour, quality and general appeal. I saw this place online and looked great, although the overall customer service was of a high standard with kind and attentive waiters/waitresses, the food took us off guard. We ordered a rib eye steak (requested as medium rare but arrived extremely well done), 2x bland chicken steaks and a chewy little lamb steak, all with a far from generous helping of garlic sauce. It hurts me to see such a great cut of beef which claims to be marbled, to be disrespected by the way this was cooked. Unfortunately the excessively large cut chips were also poor company to sad looking slabs of meat that lay centrepiece to the dishes. The whole meal was served on a bed of over boiled noodles sticking to a dangerously hot plate, making the steak difficult to cut as it tries to balance itself on gelatinous pile of noodles (I wouldâve much preferred they serve me a pot noodle). The overcompensating 2 inch platform of a plate that the meal was served on did no favours to the food, and the âsizzlerâ element seemed to only be reflected through the excess smoke and noise that went on too long. The side of veggies reminded me of an unseasoned, depressing, microwaved bowl of carrots and peas pulled through a frozen bag straight from a freezer in Iceland. The general taste and execution of this meal was extremely poor, I couldnât recommend this establishment to anyone, the only saving grace from my experience was the cleanliness of the venues, and politeness of the staff. And as much as it pains me to say, the best part of the meal was the jarritos cola. I cannot express my disappointment enough, as I had hyped myself up all week thinking this meal would be worth the wait, unfortunately I had never been so wrong. 1/10"

"A nice pub tucked away in a quiet street a few minutes walk from London Bridge station with a nice atmosphere and several vegan options. I had the vegan parmo which was nice and a very good portion, two pieces of âchickenâ! I was in at lunchtime and service was friendly and fast. Vegan items are printed in blue on the menu, when I was there the options were: Vegan Parmo (breaded seitan, chorizo, bechamel chips) Vegan patty in beetroot bun with onion rings Or patty with pulled jackfruit"

"Been going here for a fairly long time going back a few years since it was at Silverburn and now situated at Braehead . Pretty disappointed upon our recent visit . Pasta bowls reduced in size drastically and had 3 bits of chicken in it (which we paid extra for) . The pizza was the same, ordered the posh pepperoni which used to come on a large oblong wooden board and is now served as a small round pizza and again with reduced toppings; for ÂŁ16.50 for the pizza alone I found this very disappointing. Soft drinks expensive and overall it all felt lacking in the portion sizes quantity department . This is a shame as the food was still really tasty. I donât think we will be back this time round and will likely try some of the other restaurants around that are doing similar deals food . I understand times are hard for everyone Prezzo including the smaller businesses but this will lose you valuable time served customers like myself who can hardly afford to feed myself and two kids as it is ."

"Reminiscing about the great time we had at this place last night! We spent the weekend in Bedford visiting relatives and decided to book this place, because weâre big pizza fiends and the reviews meant it made sense! Have not stopped thinking about the food all day! If youâre lucky enough to know what a proper Neapolitan pizza tastes like and have been chasing the dream of tasting it again⌠look no further! If you havenât been to Naples before, then this place takes you there and back in one evening! This is hands down the best pizza outside of Naples! In fact I would go as far as to say that it could easily hold its own amongst the 100s of pizzerias in its birth City! The restaurant itself is casually quirky⌠named after the ownerâs mother, with photos to couple that offer a little glimpse into the owners background with Italian memorabilia for days⌠including a real vesper hanging on a shelf from the ceiling, youâre hit with the scent of the wood fired oven as soon as you walk through the doors letting you know instantly that youâre in for a treat⌠the real deal! The relaxed, but upbeat vibe coupled with the warm and attentive welcome and service from the owner and the staff meant it was only fair to start with a round of Aperol Spritzes, which was followed by a number of bottles of delicious Primitivo throughout the meal that ultimately led to some singing and dancing at the end of our meal! We allowed the owner to recommend lots of things off the menu to share and boy did he not disappoint! Everything from pizzas, to pizza rolls to bruschetta meant that we were all able to try the classic Neapolitan pizza base with various different flavours! Highly recommend trying the Pizza Tartufo if you like truffle! Iâm Italian and visit Naples most years and the pizza base is up there with the best Iâve tried! Hats off to the pizzaiolas as mastering this culinary delight is not easy! The pork meatballs in tomato sauce and oven roasted cracked pepper and salty ribs were delicious! But aside from the extremely high quality of the pizzas it was a bowl full of cheese and charcuterie that stole the show! Imagine a huge ball of creamy burrata that when cut open released loads of tiny balls of morzarella! It was truly next level! I have never seen or tasted anything quite like it! We finished with a round of espressos and some traditional Italian pastries, which were out of this world! We had such a lovely evening from the food to the wine, service to the vibe it really was exceptional! The only thing I wasnât happy about was leaving, knowing that this restaurant isnât on my doorstep! The only saving grace is the avoided damage it would do to my waistline if it was, as I would be here every weekend! Cannot wait to go back!"

"When I travel south down the moterways, I stop off at my usual filling stations....but if I have more time Ive got some nice options in Moffat, Kirby Longsdale and Lancaster to name a few. When Im heading north, it usually Kinross Servicies for comfort break and a snack. But this trip north. my dughter decided to give The Court house a try. Thankfully she has the knack for picking great places. No booking, but they squeezed us in late lunch time. After a short wait in vestibule, we were shown to a table. Simple sour dough sandwiches, all freshly prepared were just what we needed to get us ready to continue our journey. Cant say anything more than they were great and kitchen staff know their job. Front of house were equally efficiant and Kinross is lucky to have this place on their doorstep. Will make time for this place in future journeys."
