Spicy chicken pieces stir-fried with bell peppers, onions, and a tangy chili sauce for a flavorful kick.

"We were on a family holiday and due to last minute plans, couldn't get any hotels in Whitby so stayed in Redcar. Being few days away from home, started missing Indian food so searched for Indian restaurants. Based on reviews chose this restaurant as a closest option to what we wanted to eat.Good ambience, nice staff but our high hopes for good/decent Indian food were shattered. Food portion is very less. Whatever we ordered (daal, rice) quantity was strictly 1 measuring cup literally. We were starving so finished every bit. Ordered one paneer curry for which portion was good but then ridiculously priced. To summarize, do not expect authenticate Indian food or any closer."

"Whilst shopping in Bury during half term, my daughter and me visited this restaurant, (as usual!! It is a great place if you like pancakes and waffles. We usually have the savoury crepe with salmon and cream cheese. It comes with a salad and is bery filling.The...restaurant is licensed and my daughter loves the Pina coladas!!!.It is great value for money and the staff are really friendly. If you between 12 and 2 pm you may hsve to wait a while as it gets very busy.We have never tried the sweet crepes but habe seen them being served and they look delicious.Would definitely recommended this little restaurant for lunch."

"Very pleasant setting, liked it was intimate but not noisy!! The food was awesome, just the right quantity at great value. Will be recommending it to people and will definitely be back soon. The only thing I can critique is the wine needs to be chilled before serving as I had to ask the waiter to put ice cubes in mine and my friends rose. However all in all a lovely evening and great food"

"We have been in Arthur's quite a few times and really like it. However we went to the newly opened one today and a couple if things annoyed me. The tea is served as a tea bag in a cup which I don't think is particularly good. I went back up for a second cup as I had a sandwich and needed more tea. I asked was it possible to have it in a mug as opposed to the small cup and was told no as it was a bigger vessel. I really don't know why this was a problem as it was only going to be extra water not exactly going to break the bank. I also purchased 2 chocolate tray baked which were warm and melting."

"After a friend has repeatedly recommended the Alam we finally got around to paying a visit last night. Having purchased some wine from the conveniently placed off licence next door we perused the menu outside, chatted with another customer then entered. Met by the lovely...Sayed who seated us, brought menus and glasses for our wine. They have quite an extensive menu including a great selection for vegetarians. We opted for the Banquet for at that's for not each. We had poppadoms and a tray of mango chutney, onion and tomatoes plus a really delicious dip which consisted of yoghurt, chilli and lychee, coriander and one more ingredient that I can't remember. This was followed by onion bahjis each and a lamb shèek kebab with salad, again well presented and very tasty. Then came rhe mains, chicken tikka massala and a lamb balti, portions of pilau rice plus a naan bread and allo gobi. Generous portions , full of tender meat, delicious sauce and a light fluffy nan. Needless ro say we couldn't finish everything but our leftovers were boxed up for us and Sayed even gave us pots of the yoghurt dip we had raved about. And all for just what a bargain . We will definitely return. Ps they also offer a takeaway/ deliver service"

"The food at this restaurant was good, but the service was poor. Waiters were delivering food to the wrong tables, and the kitchen was very slow. Our food arrived at different times, even though we asked for everything to come out together. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so we were concerned about how they would handle a full capacity crowd. The waiters' attitudes were not positive, and they didn't seem knowledgeable about handling a busy atmosphere with confidence. It's clear that the waiters could benefit from some training."

"The food at the restaurant was delicious, but I was not a fan of the practice of immediately placing a large quantity of poppadoms in front of us without asking. They charged us for the poppadoms, even though we didn't request so many. In the future, it is best to clarify if you want poppadoms and how many you would like upon being seated, as the cost can add up quickly. Despite this issue, the food was still excellent."

"We haven’t been here for years as the last meal we had was so salty we couldn’t eat it. So it was as we were a party of and there wasn’t a table available for us in the local Wetherspoons- so busy on a...Thursday night, that we found ourselves in Haryana. However our meals were all good, the young children shared a chicken Korma, with rice and chips. The rest of us had a variety of curries me a lamb saag which was a bit dry but ok. One had a lamb Biriani and another a chicken Biriani both said they were good. Older grandson had a vegetarian meal, which he also enjoyed. Our only disappointment was they did not serve desserts and we’d promised the children ice cream this meant a quick trip to the Spar on the way home,"
