"We first came to Bay Leaves when we moved back to Epsom in 2015, which was a really pleasurable experience back then. We popped in here on Friday 13th Oct 2023 in the hopes we were able to get a table, and thankfully we did. The gentleman on duty gave us a very warm welcome, and we felt valued as soon as we walked through the door. We started with the obligatory poppadoms, which cames with what I think was finely chopped red onion and red peppers in a lovely sweet red juice. My husband chose lamb madras, and I had lamb dhania, together with coconut rice and the most buttery tasting saag aloo on the planet, chippati and a peshawari naan. It was my first taste of a dhania, and after one mouthful I was hooked! Simply fabulous. The bill was realistic, and it speaks volumes knowing the owner is the same after all these years. Also another indication they have a good reputation is that they obviously have their regulars, and the phone was constantly ringing. The nicest touch as we left, was when a young man opened the door and thanked us for our custom. Thank you gentlemen. We will definitely be back"
