"Friendly, fast and accommodating! Went in for dinner and chose my go to dish, the chef asked me if I wanted a sample before I ordered who can say no to that offer? I was ordering takeout and while I was waiting I was offered a can of diet coke gratis. Not many places like this left unfortunately. Will definitely come back! "We visited a fast food restaurant with a comfortable seating area, including high chairs for children (a nice touch). My family and I visited last Saturday afternoon and enjoyed a variety of Indian, Chinese, and standard fast food items such as kebabs and pizzas. Our order was freshly cooked and overall very tasty. We would definitely return in the future. I agree with other reviews that the staff was friendly and the service was good. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with spacious seating areas."

"Have been looking for a great Malaysian for a while. This is the best I’ve found in the UK (and I’ve searched a lot of places in London). The food tastes amazing. Vegan choices were excellent there’s a separate menu with clearly marked up choices. Including the classic Roti Canai. Had the Malaysian ‘lamb’ curry, was divine."

"Just returned from dining here this evening. Due to the mixed reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect if I’m totally honest. This restaurant is set in an old building bursting with history. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere lovely and the food excellent. My friend and I chose Set Menu B. All dishes were very tasty and the portion sizes were perfect. The prawn toast is like none other I’ve had before, it’s to die for! Our waiter was very attentive and offered quality suggestions from the menu. Overall a very pleasant experience at competitive prices, which I would recommend without a doubt. I look forward to my next visit!"

"This Indian street food restaurant in Swindon offers delicious and authentic dishes that are highly recommended. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is top-notch. The price per person ranges from £10-£20, making it a great option for dinner. Vegetarians will be pleased with the large selection of vegetarian options available. Overall, a must-try spot for Indian cuisine lovers in the area."

"The meal was delicious, the staff was attentive, and they refilled our teapots with water several times without us having to ask. The restaurant had bamboo sushi mats as partitions, giving us the feel of our own private space. I booked in advance over the phone for my birthday, which was a quick process. They even offered to keep my cake in their fridge. The only small issue was that their card machine was broken at the end, so they only accepted cash. However, they provided an option to pay via bank transfer with a £2 fee starting tomorrow."

"This place changed to worsen, I'm surprised it still standing. Upon arrival at the door, a4 paper tape it to the door saying Pay before you eat . with is fair enough, as you approach the staff they take you straight away to the bar so you pay for your meal, they take out the unlimited pop drinks with you need to spend more money. £2.80 for a pint of coca cola that didn't even taste like the genuine one, more like water down and the cheap ones you get from supermarkets for less than 50p, ridiculous. So the table for 2, they took us to the busiest and loudest corner, even when we politely ask if we can be seated in a quieter table. Staff looked at us funny and said no. With we founded very rude. As soon you sit down at the table you've been observed like crazy! whenever you go the staffs and manager has eyes on you. On the walls, there is a notice poorly made written by hand and once again a4 paper saying you can eat from 12 noon till 5.30 pm if you stay longer you be charged! very passive writing. This place has zero maintenances, you can see dust everywhere especially of the curtains I don't think they ever been washed. Mould at the ceiling and the walls you can spot from miles, not to mention poor chairs and tables. Cutlery is not presentable I had to wipe in the napkin before using it. Food buffet variety is nothing special and the desserts are horrible, cheap icecreams, most of the desserts are from supermarkets, they left in the trays for god knows how long. (You never know you might eat out of date food). Plates are chipped, some of them wet. Bowls bearly any. I and my partner agreed that the food was over salted and had too much pepper inside. It's a cheap Chinese if you can call that, use to be alright but now it's just a no, we won't be back here again. Prices for the buffet are somehow ok for lunch but then you need to spend more on drinks with the bill could be expensive. Lunch Monday Thursday £7.5 Adult £4.5 Child, Buffet at the evenings seems overpriced: Monday Thursday Dinner (5:30pm 10pm) £8.5 Adult £5 Child Friday Saturday: Lunch (12noon 5:30pm) £8 Adult £5 Child Dinner (5:30pm 10pm) £9.5 Adult £5 Child Sunday All Day and Bank Holidays (except good Friday): 12noon 10pm, £8.5 Adult, £5 Child What we noticed many people left leftovers, including myself as I had undercooked potatoes. The way this business is going soon or later they will charge you for leaving leftovers! As we were leaving the restaurant all staffs including manger had eyes on us, felt like they not trusting us. It's terrible to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. After the food, we both had stomach pains and my partner felt sick, we unsure what could have been caused by it but we know for sure we go elsewhere and pay a little bit extra to have a proper Chinese rather than this that makes you sick."

"Never again! Have not been there for 10 years and will Never go back. Not sure who paid you to write those amazing reviews or you never had any quality food and good service in you life probably. This is place is far from fine dining! Waiters come and go to your table in bunches, like 5 were servicing us on Valentine’s Day 2023. Only manager made and eye contact and somehow cared. The rest do not make any eye contact and look tired and fed up. Food is supermarket quality not joking) overprice and takes ages to get cooked and service is below 0. I never write reviews for restaurants unless I want to either warn people or really recommend a good place! In this care warning do not water your time and money."

"I ordered from this restaurant for the first time. The main dishes had decent flavor but lacked meat content, with very little lamb in the korma and only 7 small 'king' prawns. The most disappointing part of the meal was the burnt and unpleasant-tasting chips, as well as the stale poppadoms, suggesting that the oil used was either old, cheap, or both."

"COELIAC We ordered a takeaway on route to the New Forest for our holiday. I found this gem from reccomendations from social media after lots of coeliac said they do a Gluten free menu and treat allergies very seriously. We ordered so much food as I took advantage of not having had a chinese in sooooooo long but this was SO GOOD and generally one of the best Chinese’s I have ever had. (Please get the Singapore noodles salt and chilli chicken they were to die for!!!!! We had our campervan and they even let us sit and eat our takeaway in the van in the carpark. Will definitely visit again soon!! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sweet and Sour Pork, Singapore Noodles"

"After reading some poor reviews I was a little worried about ordering from here but I honestly needn't have been. I ordered my usual chicken curry, egg fried rice, chow mein, prawn crackers and chips. We also ordered some chicken nuggets and cheesy chips for a fussy teenager who's not big on Chinese food! Everyone was really happy with their orders! All very tasty, the curry had lots of chicken and the chow mein was full of flavour. Overall couldn't really fault it and will definitely be using Bento Box again."

"The majority of the food at the restaurant was delicious, however, the popadoms were extremely oily. The waiter explained that they had just been fried, but we found this explanation unacceptable as we have dined at many Indian restaurants and never experienced such greasy popadoms before. The waiter did offer us a complimentary masala popadom, but it was no better. We were also disappointed to learn that the restaurant's alcohol license had expired when we tried to order drinks, which should have been mentioned when we made our reservation. Additionally, we ordered all of our starters and main courses at once, expecting to receive the starters first as we had specified to the waitress. Unfortunately, our dosa's arrived well before the rest of our food, leaving us waiting. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she explained that the kitchen was very busy and suggested we should have informed her when ordering, which we had already done. The loud volume of the television playing Coco Melon and the music made it difficult for the waitress to hear our concerns. To add to the disappointment, a large party with noisy children made it challenging for us to have a conversation without speaking loudly. Overall, our dining experience was not enjoyable and fell short of our expectations, despite the decent quality of the food (excluding the popadoms)."
