"The four courses included a poppadom, a starter, a curry, and nan bread. The poppadom was disappointing as it was cold and stale, and only came with two accompaniments - a spicy yogurt and mango chutney. The onion bhajees for the starter were freshly cooked and tasty, but the accompanying salad was not fresh as the cucumber was starting to turn brown.
The Chicken Korma was generous, hot, and delicious, and the nan bread was also good. The service was quick and efficient. I was disappointed to find out that they did not serve wine, although I later noticed they had lager in the fridge, raising questions about their drinks license policy.
There was bottled water on the table, but it was not complimentary and cost over £3 if consumed. I was able to get a smaller bottle for £1.95 when I asked. Overall, I would recommend sticking to the freshly cooked dishes and avoiding the poppadoms and salad."
