"Disinterested staff, who leave you sitting there for half an hour in an empty room, with only two other clients. Go to bar to order food fed up at being ignored. Wait another 10 minutes before asking whether your drink was coming, receive apologies by manager and offer of that glass coming free. Was served with a slow cooked rib of beef which had obviously been heated in the microwave and was therefore like chewing on a tyre, to be told by sighing waitress that it’s a bit tough because it’s cooked sous vide. I thought that technique was meant to make it ridiculously tender, but then what would I know? Couldn’t eat any of the meat sensibly, so left all of it on the plate, but was still charged full amount. Was also charged for the ‘free’ glass of wine until I asked for it to be taken off the bill. Incompetent staff, awful food, dreadful all round and to be avoided at all costs."
