"Stopped off for some breakfast last Thursday at about en route to Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey). Sign says only people at the counter at a time and as the cafe wasn't busy, we duly waited at the door...and waited....and waited... while the...member of staff behind the counter chatted at length to the two men at the counter. In the end, we gave up waiting and continued our journey. Such a shame that poor service by the staff let it down as the food is always very good and the place is always very clean."
