"Very relaxing experience, cute decor and a pleasant atmosphere. One thing you will notice is the hot plate in the centre of the table, which is very handy but don't touch it. :D First thing I noticed on the table were the Chopsticks. They were made from high quality bambo, very unusual design. Food portion is more than enough for an individual. The taste is lovely and rich, with friendly service. So what are you waiting for? "I had a nice lunch here at Rendezvous restaurant. The place can be a bit hard to find as it is less obvious (go in through the door and take the stairs up). Quite an extensive menu! I ordered the bean curd family style and egg fried rice. It also came with some crackers. The bean curd dish was delicious. I asked for it to be spicy and indeed it was spicy which was nice! Overall it was a good experience."

"I recently revisited this Chinese restaurant in Finnieston before a night out and was not disappointed. The interior may be basic, but the food more than makes up for it. Seeing Chinese students dining in was a good sign and indicated that the food was authentic. I tried the Chicken and Black Bean dish this time, and it was delicious. It seems like they may have a new chef, but the taste was still just as great as I remembered. The portions were generous and filled me up nicely before a few drinks. My friends tried the crispy shredded beef, which was also a large portion. I will definitely be returning soon."

She makes ordering a pleasant and efficient experience, which is important to me as I can get impatient with phone conversations. There have been times when I have requested special dishes and she has always been accommodating and helpful. The quality of the food is consistently excellent and I am always satisfied with my takeout orders from Rainbow Garden. "Very poor. More like a takeaway with tables. Didn’t have the options advertised on their website. Order via a QR code and pay upfront. No waiting staff- just servers. Food took half an hour to come and it all comes at once (starters mains) and then the drinks came after. Food was edible but nothing special. Toilets weren’t clean. I will never go back"

"Last night's takeaway was amazing! The prawn toast in the starter, perfect. The ribs, perfect, the spring rolls, extra crunchy and by far the best I'd ever had. The chili chicken main was incredible. You guys are by far the best Chinese takeaway in Derby and probably the whole of the Midlands. "The restaurant is located near the fashionable argyle shopping district. I went here with my mom. We ordered spring rolls and wanton soup. The soup was delicious with a very flavorful broth. We split a ginger beef main dish. It was very good. The large...portion was easily enough for both of us. I love ginger and can never have too much, so I think there could have been more in the dish. dinner for two in a beautiful sit down. Really lovely. And the locals must love it too. They have a hopping take away business. It was highly recommended by the bicycle delivery man we saw out front and seven more picked up while we were there."

"I am writing this review on behalf of my Grandparents, who ordered a meal to accommodate 4 people from this establishment for their 2020 Christmas dinner. When trying to complain, the Manager was abrupt, dismissive, rude and only expressed an interest in the complaint when my Grandmother mentioned that she had taken photos of the food in question. This is a very lengthy review, but I would urge people to read to the end , as my Grandparents have experienced appalling service from the manager of this establishment, and people need to know about this. They ordered paid for 4 meals and starters over the phone. Upon collection of the order, it was clear that the order was incorrect and not up to a satisfactory standard for example the rice orders were wrong (3 fried rice instead of boiled rice some kind of congealed pineapple chicken dish was supplied instead of lemon chicken, the chicken omelette was salty and soggy as it had so much oil in the container, and the chips were very dry and salty. Not worth a penny paid, or worth the trouble my Grandfather took to drive to collect the order . As mentioned above, the manager was very abrupt and dismissive of my Grandmother 's complaint (his initial response being what do you want me to do about that .......Even though he could see this had ruined their Christmas meal (this was supposed to be a rest for my Grandmother who cooks the other 364 days of the year . He was very keen for my Grandmother to throw the food away, she offered numerous times to return it to his establishment, but his reply each time was to throw the food away. When my Grandmother mentioned that she had taken photos, and then went onto mention that she could post the photos on the internet, the manager suddenly changed his tune. After a lengthy phone call, it was agreed that another order could be placed, free of charge for 1st January 2021. My grandmother checked again to see if the manager wanted to see the food as proof he said that he didn 't want to see it, and they agreed that my Grandfather would collect at an agreed time. On 1st January my Grandfather arrived at the agreed time, and nobody answered the door. Eventually somebody answered, and the manager was summoned. He asked to see proof of the original order, and so my Grandfather (bear in mind we are talking about a couple who are in their 70 's went back to his car, got his phone and took it back to show to the manager the photos. The manager 's response being nice photos no food and sent my Grandfather away. In the freezing cold, on New Year 's Day. Utterly disgusting treatment of a formally loyal customer. On the upside, my Grandfather happened to notice that another establishment nearby was open Wok Wok. Even though he hadn 't placed an order with them in advance they very kindly offered to cook his food to order if he didn 't mind waiting. Their food was perfect, their service was second to none and my grandparents are delighted to have found a new Chinese take away that respects and appreciates their custom. So, in the words of my Grandmother goodbye Golden Crown and hello Wok Wok."

"They do accommodation too now. a night, that seems slightly pricey for a room in a Chinese restaurant but it’s for and all that so must be because it’s saving the planet. I heard that Greta lassie is staying here. She loves Salt “N” Chilli chicken “N” chips can’t get it in Sweden seemingly, she doesn’t like banana fritters though cause of the carbon footprint associated with shipping them from Columbia. Seems as if everything from Columbia now a days is illegal, immoral or fattening. Anyway, rooms get yourself down there grab a bargain."
