"I was very impressed by this restaurant last weekend. I placed an order through Just Eat and requested some extra crispy batter bits to be added to my meal. I wasn't sure if it was possible, but the person taking my order was extremely accommodating and gave me a generous portion, which was fantastic. The staff were also very polite and friendly. I particularly enjoyed their chips, especially the broken chips they serve on Saturdays. Overall, it was a great experience."

"I ordered a pizza for collection. Watching the app it was taking longer than usual. When it said it was ready I went into the store. They said it was still baking. I waited probably 10 minutes and no one had spoken to me. I checked again and instead of responding to me they just talked about it between themselves and left me waiting. After a while later I got my pizza with an apology finally (and some free cookies, their go to apology). From overhearing then I think they delivered mine to someone else and had to remake mine, though they never told me that. They treated me like I wasn’t there, terrible customer service. Got home...and it didn’t have a stuffed crust. Called up for a partial refund. This is not the first problem I’ve had here, they are not professional, someone needs to take a close look at this store."

"Got a takeaway on Friday night ordered a 10 inch doner went to pick up and was met by the usual very friendly staff. Got pizza home and was not disappointed pipping hot, base and crust really tasty, absolutely loads of doner meat unlike some places. Also got a garlic and chilli dip must say chilli dip very tasty different than other places but in a good way if your visiting you must try. Will defo be back outstanding pizza and I'm very hard to please."

"Whenever I come back to Cheltenham from the Wars I always have to visit Charles Takeway after 40 years of being a customer. I hope old Charles is still going well and supervising the youngsters. Before I enter the shop after a 5 year break Charles's Cypriot nephew (balding now! has a giant piece of haddock ready to drop into the fryer without asking. Cooked to perfection as always and I stand at the end of counter pigging out. Great place and everyone works hard to please a diverse group of clients, drunk or sober. Spies from GCHQ and the police use Charles Takeaway. It's a pity that security is required outside the door due to the pondlife who can't hold their liquor and make fools of themselves at weekends. Drooling at the mouth right now a few thousand miles away in Afghanistan in the mountains thinking about fish and chips. The only placd to match Charles Takeaway is the Shanghai Brewery, Shanghai where a chef from Birmingham serves up delicious cod and chips with Filipina waitresses and a micro brewery too."

"The munchy box is a joke you grt more potatoes than anything else, for £13.50 you'd think they'd put in a cheese and tomato pizza like other place, although food is great 2nd time ordering. I would say munchy box is only enough for 1 adult. Plus delivery guy didn't give me my correct change so I paid more than I should've done."

"I recently visited Llandudno in Wales and heard that The Tram Fish Shop is considered the best. However, I believe they need to come to Thepan for a real lesson in fish and chips. Thepan offers excellent portions - two fish and a portion of chips is enough for two people. They have a wide variety of meals to choose from, including options for kids. "I have been to this restaurant before, but I was very disappointed during my recent visit. They were out of a large number of items, including steak, halloumi, and cheesecake. They also got my order completely wrong and the dishes were not served as listed on the menu. The sauce was watery and over-seasoned, and the burgers were greasy and poorly presented, which may have been because it was the end of a busy Mother’s Day. Overall, I left feeling let down."
