"I visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning for an early breakfast. The atmosphere was simple and clean. Unfortunately, none of the staff greeted me when I arrived. I sat down, looked at the menu, and made my choices without any acknowledgment. When I placed my order, a grumpy employee came out from behind the counter, took my menu without a word, and placed it on the seat across from me. I prefer to read menus thoroughly, so I picked it back up. Despite the lack of communication, the food was delicious and the coffee was great. If you don't mind being ignored and are just looking for good food, this place is for you. It's a shame that the service was lacking. Remember, a smile is free."

"Googled closest Indian restaurant to Manchester Airport as were were picking relatives up. The Cinnamon Tree came out nearest. Booked a table online. Was very pleased with the food which was lovely. Good sized portions. Thought it was quite expensive though compared to our local Indian restaurant which is in a nicer setting and has nicer decor. The Cinnamon Tree would benefit from an update particularly the upstairs toiled facilities. Nice friendly Staff however and would go again if the occasion arose."

"we went for the first time on Friday. I'm shocked it won't heaving! the food was delicious, the staff was so friendly and did not linger or hasten you. there was so much choice on the menu and loved that they could see in the kitchen that proved they had nothing to hide! the ice cream is amazing when they can choose a taste, the naan looks amazing and they were so helpful with diet requirements. if they enjoy beer and do not drive, they try the king cobras, but warn them are quite strong! we took two parent groups, both of whom said it was the best indian they were, the facility that was the personal everything brilliant. 100% recommended!"

"I ordered breakfast from this restaurant through Deliveroo, with a scheduled delivery time of 10:15 am. However, when my order did not arrive by 10:30 am, I called the restaurant and was informed that there were no available drivers and I would need to request a refund. This lack of communication and organization is completely unacceptable - I should have been notified of the issue with the drivers before placing my order. Had I known, I could have ordered from a different restaurant instead of waiting for an hour. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. Fortunately, I was able to contact Deliveroo and receive a full refund of £27."

"This local Indian takeaway restaurant was a disappointing experience for my husband's birthday dinner. Despite pre-ordering our meal, it arrived 20 minutes early and without our main dish and side. When I contacted the restaurant, they offered to deliver the missing items in 30 minutes, but I declined as the rest of the food would have gone cold. The food that was delivered was only lukewarm, and when I asked for a refund, they refused. Overall, it was a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience, and I will not be ordering from them again."

"Okay, so this is my first review. Being a student,one always tries to find places that offer good food with reasonable prices. Dosa village is one of them. Their food is delicious, with a special mention to the Gobhi Manchurian and Paneer Devil in the snacks category. Other things I tried here included, Mysore Masala Dosa, Tomato Uthhappam all of which were tasty. The service might be a little slow because they don't have much staff but the food makes up for it. And do try either the Filter coffee or Masala Chai after your meal! :"

"This restaurant has really gone downhill over the years. The hygiene is lacking, which is a shame because the host was very hospitable. Once seated, we were handed menus which were dirty and sticky. Ordered the drinks, they came in glasses which were marked and sticky down the side. The drink was room temperature flat pop. The food that came didn’t taste bad, but it certainly wasn’t “good”. Very small portion of rice which the curry drowned if you were to pour it all on your plate. Bread was burnt and tasteless. Went to the men’s bathroom by mistake, my god it was stinking. Stunk of urine and it was dirty! I was disgusted by the soap on the sink, how they thought it was ok to leave this filthy black god knows how old bar of soap there for customers. Whole place needs a good bleaching! They’re meant to be rated 4 by the food standards agency but it needs updating!"

"We visited the restaurant on Thursday, June 13th and were thoroughly impressed. The small and cozy staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They were able to accommodate my vegan partner, who often struggles to find suitable dishes at other restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to ensure she had a satisfying meal. The food itself was cooked perfectly, and I highly recommend the tandoori duck starter and the chicken Peshwari Special. The menu offered a wide variety of options to cater to every taste. "VILE! unbelievably bad. I went to pick up an order from the restaurant, and this was my first time ordering from here. I should have turned around and walked back to my car as soon as I walked through the front door.... the restaurant was empty, bar a group of men at the back having what looked like a family meal helping themselves to food from trays on a side table. Like a cheap buffet. The bar was empty and had no staff behind it at all. Of the two beer fridges, one was filled with random items like bulbs and cardboard boxes and the other had 4 bottles of bud and an empty ketchup bottle. There were flies on the bar, and there was a large basket filled with dirty washing (I assume aprons) just sitting there. Not a single member of staff came to greet me, so I wandered towards the back of the restaurant to get someone's attention. I wish I hadn't because as I got to the back end of the place there was a small room where one of the male members of staff was sat on the floor with two buckets.... one with clearly dirty water, and the other had suds on top and he was dunking the cutlery in the bucket..... this is how they clean their dishes!!!!?? Absolutely gross and mental. The manager was rude and dismissed me straight away, telling me to come back in half an hour. As I said, I should Have walked out and never returned there and then ...but I didn't. I came back collected my food, got home...took one look at it and lashed it all in the wheely bin outside. Money down the gutter, but a lesson learned....always check the MANY 1 star reviews on trust pilot before ordering food from a new place."

"The meal was delicious, the staff was attentive, and they refilled our teapots with water several times without us having to ask. The restaurant had bamboo sushi mats as partitions, giving us the feel of our own private space. I booked in advance over the phone for my birthday, which was a quick process. They even offered to keep my cake in their fridge. The only small issue was that their card machine was broken at the end, so they only accepted cash. However, they provided an option to pay via bank transfer with a £2 fee starting tomorrow."

"We decided to give Big Fish another try after boycotting them for a few months. Unfortunately, after last night's meal, we won't be ordering from them again. The fish, which is usually delicious, was overcooked and covered in thick, stodgy batter that hid a small amount of haddock. My husband's mixed kebab was also disappointing, lacking cheese that we had paid extra for. With a delivery charge of £4, the meal wasn't cheap, especially considering the poor quality. Overall, we were very disappointed and won't be returning."
