"I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the staff at the Basingstoke store. The individual who claims to be the manager was extremely rude to us and made us wait for over 1 hour and 20 minutes. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction and refusing to pay, he continued to yell at us over the phone. He stated that there was no one else to escalate our concerns to besides him. His service and demeanor were unacceptable, and as a result, we will not be patronizing Herbies again. His behavior is tarnishing the reputation of your company."

"RACIST staff. I asked if there were any promotions prior to ordering. No promotions after 12am . OK fine, no problem. I then proceeded to order a calzone whereby I can chose any four toppings. When I asked the staff to explain the toppings I got asked have you never been to a pizza shop before Ofcourse I have but I haven 't physically seen the toppings so I would like a little guidance please I responded. Then the main guy taking the orders said something along the lines of are you not British/ you don 't know how to speak English I immediately thought to myself. I 'm being victimised because I wanted to know what the toppings were. It wasn 't even that busy. I took my business down the road to speedy pepper No racism there)."

"Guilio’s in falkirk celebrates 2021 after two great food awards. I could hardly expect to try their fish chips. my friend went around 6.15 o'clock Friday 17/12/21 ordered a small fish dinner a single special fish we ate in their car. but they got the order wrong put chips with my special fish. the brothcrumbs were exactly right as they were not poured like ruff, but were just a bit too thin that the fish broke up when I tried to lift it, but it tasted ok. the teig on the fish of my friend was nice crisp but I had to leave a few of the chips, most of them were a bit too soft as u could see that it was a few bad. a much better fish sauce can be had in moscardies manor st falkirk is very favorable to sit for one. try it. I find her best in the FALKIRK area."

"We ordered two meals from the meal deal. It took ages for the starter to arrive, we had to ask the waiter where it was. I had ordered hunters chicken for the main and when it came, I found it to be really salty, I thought it was the yellow/orange sause, so tried to avoid it, and realised that the red sauce was not BBQ sause, but a very runny (mainly tomato) bolognese sauce.So I complianed to the waitress, who then went ans spoke to our waiter, who told her that the chicken was alway with a bechamel sauce, but I could have more BBQ sauce if I wanted. I pointed to the menu that had no mention of bechamel sauce. Our original waiter came over and explained that they had a new menu and that the old menu had included bechamel and the kitchen were not aware of the menu change. He offered me a starter as compensation, I had already had a starter and did not want another. I ate the chips and onion rings, but the chicken was so awful, I left it. When I went to pay the bill, or original wait was no where to be found and we were left with a very nice young girl who had only been working there a week. She asked if we had been offered any compensation I said that we hadn't but felt we should have been, so she went to the kitchen to speak to our origninal waiter, who did not return with her, and she told us because it was part of the meal deal, that they could not remove any thing, and what we had would have been more expensive than removing the meal. So I ended up paying full price for a meal I did not eat! The customer service was terrible except for the new girl. The hunters chicken was not as described on the menu and unedible."

"We discovered this wonderful restaurant slightly off the main path in Colchester, just a 5-minute walk from the castle. After exploring the castle for a few hours (highly recommended with a guide), we decided to stop by and were pleasantly surprised. The staff greeted us warmly, the coffee lived up to its promise of being the best, and the muffins were absolutely delicious. If we ever find ourselves in Colchester again, we will definitely be returning to this lovely spot!"

It was very busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon, but Ellie, who served us, was fantastic! "I 'm a lover of hot curries..and I mean really,really hot curries: A Vindaloo is mild to my palate,so I thought I 'd go one step up and order a Chicken Phall from City Spice. I 'm glad to say it didn 't disappoint. The Chicken was perfectly cooked;fibrous,generous,great texture and not at all like that rubbery,watery injected stuff. (as is customary in so many Indian restaurants these days).The sauce was to die for and had the perfect pureed consistency...cooked and roasted to perfection...Thank you Chef,you have a great palate.. The meal had the taste of a true 'BIR ' (British Indian Restaurant) in the same way I remember it from the 80 's, when we used to stagger home drunk and stop at the nearest Indian restaurant on the way home. The portions are very generous too.Don 't hesitate to order from City Spice. I find that the true benchmark for any Indian restaurant/takeaway is how well they cook their hot curries...If the really hot curries are good the rest of the menu will be outstanding. I 'll definitely be a regular customer here!"

"Booked a table for two for 12 pm which is when the restaurant opens. And signed up for the Gold Club membership which was FREE. For every online booking and take away you earn points and there are offers. When i got to the restaurant the staff was surprised i had a booking and didnt know anything about it although i had email confirmations which i showed. Also said the restaurant did not have a membership or club. If your like me and like to have a membership card and get benefits do not bother you will be disappointed. Plus no card payments"

I'm frustrated because when I called, they said it was on its way, but when I checked the Just Eat app, the driver had been delivering my food for an hour with no explanation for the delay. "Lovely place with friendly service. Food was excellent but my steak of choice was not done to my taste. It was not tender and much of it was inedible. It was not appropriate to return it in view of the company and occasion I was enjoying. However I would definitely recommend the Bistro 1 and we will return when next in London."

"Great atmosphere and wonderful people. The food was absolutely amazing. It was Fresh and full of flavour and even the side dishes clearly well looked after. The food wasn't just frozen reheat like you getting most places there was actual a lot of effort put in. The music playing was great variety nothing too old but nothing to modern. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough to help and assist. We are no stranger to leaving a tip, and I can definitely say that the tip was well spent today. Not only for the staff amazing to us as adults but they were fantastic with her daughter who is only a child. I have heard up-and-down reviews about this place but I can honestly say I don't see any negatives at all and and would be greatly honoured to come back."

"before my naked famous concert there were some time to kill, so I went into the seemingly busy – and popular – fatburger in camden town. as it was on Tuesday, there was a special promotion with an additional plump with each burger. yes!
