"We called the restaurant around 9.30am on the Saturday morning and left a message as to our requirements for that evening. Left a number but received no reply to confirm. In between time we booked a reservation online which I received an email confirmation then I thought this would be why I did not receive a call back). Having had to go into Chelmsford anyway in the afternoon, I thought I would just double check that my booking had gone through. Unfortunately, it hadnt! Luckily They were able to fit me in at the required time but obviously I had wasted my time phoning and using the online service which kind of defeats the object!"
