"Yesterday evening on July 24th, 2021, I ordered 2 large pizzas - a Garden Party and a Vegan Garden Party. This was not my first time ordering from this restaurant, but it will definitely be my last. To my disappointment, the vegan pizza had a slice of salami on it, which is completely unacceptable to me. Despite my initial trust in this establishment, I now regret ignoring the numerous negative reviews I had read about it and other similar stores. I thought I was fortunate to have a PJ's location nearby that catered to customers' dietary restrictions. However, after this incident, I will not be returning as a customer. I am disappointed to say that you have lost two customers due to one small mistake made by a careless employee who either placed the salami accidentally or intentionally on my pizza. "Not what you'd expect for £28 for 2 pizzas on a deal! Called to complain, first guy I spoke to was great. He said he'd replace the food now or next time. I said I'd do it next time as Papa John's was my go to, maybe it was just a 1 off. Next time I called to claim said pizzas I was told I wasn't aloud to claim now and it was a different manager. She wouldn't give me her name but she sounded young and of Indian accent (only way to describe her). Her customer service skills were awful. Ended up taking it further with the complaint.. no reply as of yet. So £28 down as it stands, hopefully il get a reply, who knows. Never again!"

"DON’t GIVE THESE PEOPLE BUSINESS THERE ARE PLENTY OF GOOD PLACES OUT THERE! After over 4 years giving loads of business to PapaJohns in Slough we came accross on sunday night 30th of December 2018 to the worst customer service and we were actually shocked! We ordered a pizza online and mistakenly we pressed collection instead of delivery, we realised immediately and called them to request delivery instead as we have 2 small kids and could not even collect but they could not care less and simply said they had no drivers available, 2 minutes later the manager called offering to deliver as an extra charge of 5 pounds ! Really?? We refused the pizza as at this stage we could not even trust that the pizza would be in a good state (you know what a mean) . Honestly nowadays people simply don’t care about their customers. We did like the pizza but we will happily move to Domino’s if that means we will get a better customer service . They will probably say that the the order was submitted around 10:40 and they were about to close. And!?? Who cares if you offer a service until 11 pm you should be available until 11 pm end of story. I work with customers too and we always go the extra mile to do whatever we can to help, if not possible at least we apologise nicely and offer some sort of alternative!"

"I have been waiting for my order for 1.5 hours and it's still not here on a night that isn't even particularly busy. This has been the case the few times I've ordered from this restaurant in the past couple of years, which is why I only order from them twice a year at most. Every time I call, they give me a weak excuse about staffing levels or something similar, but they continue to offer a service that they can't deliver on. The pizza is okay when it finally arrives, but by that time, you're so frustrated that you can't even enjoy it. There are plenty of other pizza delivery options out there, so why put yourself through this? My advice is to just avoid this restaurant altogether."

"Sometimes I crave a bold, indulgent treat, and Papa John's Leith Walk fits the bill. I decided to build my own pizza, choosing a mix of meats, red peppers, and green paprika. While these weren't the exact toppings I initially imagined, they matched my cravings at the time. To complete the meal, I added a side of Jalapeño Poppers and chicken bites, bringing the total to just under £15. It felt a bit pricey for what I got, but it was what I wanted, so no complaints. The poppers were a bit soggy and lacked their usual crisp pop, oozing instead. The chicken bites were decent and quite tasty, though also a little soggy.
