"I made sure to book a table in advance so that we’re seated on a Friday evening. We got there and there were two nice tables with “reserved” signs on them but no! They’re for other people whose reservations were 15 mins later, so we were taken downstairs to sit.... the room was deserted, walls barely painted and a couple of tables and chairs thrown in, NO music, strong smell of mold and humidity... we said no. They took us back upstairs, and when i asked why we’re not sitting on the “reserved” tables they said these were for people who have yet to come (why not us?! . They ended up asking people to get off the bar so we could sit there (awkward . The music and noise were too loud. We had to shout to hear each other, as if we were in a club. I’m fine with that but not at a restaurant where you go to have dinner and chat. The one good thing was the food was nice, although the chips were cold. Rest was tasteful.... and the prices were reasonable."
