"our first time at dog bowl! we had a late lunch, early dinner before bowling. eating was filling and tasty and simply ok, not eating out when that is what they are looking for. my 10 year old son was very happy to eat here too, and very enjoyed the bowling. great alternative choice of the crowded children bowling alleys much more beautiful for the parents to go here and enjoy family time. they would imagine that they have to go with the children in the early afternoon and not in the evening, as the amount can be a little more hurried than the drinks flow! overall, good fun, we will return."

"My friends and I dined at this restaurant last night. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with both the food and service. The burgers and fries we ordered were all cold and extremely salty, making them inedible. The cheese and onion fries we ordered were soggy, salty, cold, and covered in bottled squeezy cheese, making it difficult to enjoy. The prices were also exorbitant, with £7.50 for the fries and £12.75 for a glass of wine. The servers simply dropped off our food without plates, and we had to ask for them. They never came back to check on us, only appearing again when it was time to present the bill with a £21 tip added. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this restaurant. "Just down to the London Road (Brighton)...I visited this place with friend who has been telling me about this place for quite long and we decided to go here for lunch; after that first lunch it has been our one a week for lunch place. This place is nice...spacious seating arrangement is good; tables are big so we can go with larger groups...ambiance of the place is one of their kind. I find menu of the restaurant quite simple... categorised in meat i.e. Beef Chicken Veggie. They are famous for their buffalo sauce and onion rings…sides menu is also good…also has shakes and floaters...section called part timers is also looks good Place is also famous for its triple chili challenge...ill try definitely next time I visit and we’ll let you know. So as per recommendation I ordered BUFFALO CHICKEN BURGER which is chicken burger covered in house made hot pepper sauce, lettuce, red onions, blue cheese sauce. We also ordered Buffalo wings and Onion Rings and cheese fries (Not Chips…they are French fries). You can ask the server for recommendations they are really good and they know their menu well so ask for help if you are confused. They also have some lunch offer like choice of Burger Bottom less Soda for 10 quid. I also tried burgers from veggies menu, but I dint liked the veggie options much (my personal opinion and taste you may like it). "Restaurant is as simply ok, which is a bit of a shame as it has so much potential to be better in all fairness. The service is good can't really complain about this and the value was good, the only issue was the food as it was just ok and there isn't exactly a lot in terms of portion and I am quite slim so not usual I would eat lots anyway. Cocktails were decent aswell, I guess on reflection writing this if the food was a bit better it would have been a 4"

"if they are looking for a decent burger or a fast bbq comfort, this is a solid choice. was much quieter than other major BBQ restaurants around (saturday evening) which was originally. but it is a casual, eat and go type of place that suits us. the selection on the menu was great, burger, wing, loaded pommes and vegan options. Drink menu was also varied. Eat was fast, served all in kartons. the service was also great, the staff were all happy and very good in what they did. if you need fast, decent food, this is a solid choice."

"what is most consistent in this place is that eating is always great. However, I have to take a sign at this opportunity, as the service was a little chaotic. it felt like they might have been a couple of employees. we were. on Saturday, so we expected it to be busy. but wait mins to arrive for our drink (it seemed only one person who works tirelessly behind the bar). then, when the food arrived, we had to get someone the attention to bring the kitchen roll and some forks. the table behind us had problems with some of their foods not arrived and were asked if they wanted to take a burger away. it is a shame, really, otherwise this place would be constantly shouting after gabriella (I hope this is right), which seemed to realize that it was a touch-chaotic. would return alone for eating, but Sat service could definitely be improved."

"Burgers and fries are tasty but the burgers are on the smaller side. One was not enough for my fiance and even I felt like I could have had at least another half, and we’re usually full after a fair sized one. If you want to leave feeling full I’d recommend having starters plus 2 sides with your burger, which would make for a bit of an expensive meal and so I don’t think it’s great value for money. Again, in terms of taste, the burgers were definitely nice, but not worth £10 each."

"My partner had been here once before, and said they had a granny smith cider and good food. Having a love for cider, he booked us a table for half 6 on a Sunday evening for dinner after going to see a show. We arrived slightly early, and sat at one of the only tables for two so we wouldn't be taking up more space than we needed. Upon sitting, we realised the table was very close to a speaker which was playing music pretty loud. I have sensory issues when it comes to noise, so I put in my loops earplugs to help. I ended up having to also add the mute attachments to make the sound level manageable, which meant that I was reducing the sound level by 21dB. However, this also made it extremely difficult for us to be able to actually talk to one another, as I normally don't use the mute attachments. After realising this was going to not be an enjoyable experience with out current seating, my partner asked a member of staff if we could move to a table that was a little further away from the speaker and they agreed. Upon moving, I was able to use my loops without the mute attachments and we were very happy. Or we were, until maybe a minute later when they decided to turn up the volume of the music. The sound level was pretty much back to exactly how it was when we were sat by the speaker, and it instantly became apparently that we could not stay and eat. My sensory issues with the rather unreasonable volume for half 6 on a Sunday evening meant that we had to leave. As you can imagine, this was rather upsetting given that we had just moved due to the noise issue. It's extremely distressing and upsetting to have to leave a restaurant, and it's made worse when you then have to find somewhere to eat in Central London last minute. If you enjoy loud places, this might be right up your street. However, if you have any sensory issues due to being neurodovergent, this place does not cater to you. The fact that the music got turned up after we had to move due to the volume level shows a lack of understanding and empathy. If we were entering late at night or on a Friday/Saturday, I can understand the music might be louder and not suitable for me. But you don't expect this to happen at barely half 6 on a quite Sunday night with the place not even half full. Sadly, we will not be returning."

"beautiful to have a vegan pub and the caledonia is well located when they participate in the local ghost hike afterwards. the menu has been based almost food style. we had the cckn wings a side order of chips, the katsu burger and salt and pfeffer chips. it was well presented and served quickly. the since then could do with something more seasoned - the aromen were mainly in the sauces and toppings. the texture was excellent. the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the feeling of something we are passing in vegan pubs. the toilets could be more clean and the decor was a strange, it is a burgundy color over everything except the walls that have green and yellow wallpaper. the furniture is uncomfortable and it does not make them want to stay there longer than they need. we are still to find a vegan pub that we often want."
