"Lives up to its age. Fantastic pub, lots of fond memories here from the six years I have lived in Birmingham. Always a lovely atmosphere and visited on the weekend during the England Vs Wales rugby match the atmosphere was delightful not too much and nothing got out of hand. There was also plenty of space round the back of the pub in the new and improved outdoor area. The order to table service was a bit slow and stopped when the pub got very busy but shows they look after their staff and don't want to overwhelm them. Absolutely loved it and a must visit to anyone new to Birmingham in the Digbeth area."
