"We ordered the wellington and it was over cooked. Two of the pieces were almost grey.. probably because it was standing under the heating lamp for more than 10 minutes before they served it. The mash was also cold. When we told the waiter he replied.. but it's only these two pieces that are over cooked right? And he kind of walked away. Paying 215 pounds for cold over cooked food was not a great experience. Bit of a tourist trap really."

"Restaurant staff was pleasant but not well trained… service was mediocre. The tables for two were on top of each other…. Uncomfortably close. We ordered the beef Wellington for 2. It was delicious but served lukewarm. I was disappointed in this restaurant. You can get superior food and service at a high end chain steakhouse in the USA ie Morton’s, Del Frisco’s, Capital Grille etc. I guess I expected too much."

"We had the Kitchen Table at Maze and it was truly one of the most memorable dining experiences ever and we have been to many top-end restaurants in the major cities all over the world. The service was extremely attentive and impeccable. The food was creative and so delicious and the courses kept coming and coming. We even got to prepare our own second dessert with the pastry chef. All of the chefs came to the table and introduced their dishes. Being in the kitchen gave us the unique vantage point as how efficient and hard a successful kitchen works. I did learn that the UK Service Charge applied did not go to the staff so be prepared to provide cash gratuities to the waiter and wine steward. This dining experience is a must for foodies!!!"

"the third time when eating in social dhaba, great atmosphere, beautifully decorated, personal was really friendly and polite. they've checked us a lot, but not intrusive. eating was delicious, but as always we had ordered some appetizers and they were all quite spicy, even for the chili lovers of our party. we drank a lot of boundless water. Please note that it is not ideal for younger children who cannot tolerate cold heat. but social dhaba I am back!"

"I sat outside in the courtyard. I was served pretty quickly and my food and drink arrived without much of a wait. I had the quinoa superfood salad withy chicken breast. The food was tasty and nicely presented, the only issue I had was the salad was nearly all leaves with a sprinkle of quinoa. Whilst I’m used to dining in London and therefore I’m aware of the prices, I did think that in excess of £40 for a G&T and some chicken and salad leaves, was a bit expensive. Also once I’d had my food the service dropped off and it took me a while waiting for the bill. Not sure if I would eat here again due to the price. I don’t mind paying London prices as long as I feel I’m getting value for money."

"Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. The starters were all interesting and not disappointing. For the mains, the steak was excellent and cooked to perfection. The sides were also excellent. Unfortunately the lobster was disappointing. The meat was removed and cooked with the mac cheese and then the whole mixture was replaced in the empty lobster shell. This totally subdued the taste of lobster and the cheesy taste was too dominant. Difficult to tell if the lobster was pre-cooked or cooked live. The shell was small and hopefully it was not re-cycled as the head and claws were missing from the presentation. Apart from that, enjoyed the steak and everything else. Will definitely eat there again only for the steaks and avoid the lobster."

"Waited 45 minutes for our starters (which was cold salty) to arrive and hadn't received our drinks until we decided to leave because of the poor service. The management did not care for any of the customers who were not in a pods and refrained from dealing with our complaints until we approached them. Clearly the restaurant can not manage serving their customers at the capacity of pods as well as the restaurant. I recommend focusing their efforts on the pods as it seems to be the only customers they can manage. I blame the management rather than the waiting staff as it was nothing they could do but deal with the amount of customers."

"Whether they are vegetarian or love their flesh, I ask them to try their food! the seasonings used are exquisite and once I had no need to add salt/ lemon or other seasoning; the free chutneys and sauces remained untouched. despite the slightly steep prices, I will order from here again. the peshwari naan was quite frugal, but considering that everything else cannot really complain."

Coming to the food, tried the Murg Karachiwala amd Makkai Jhalfrezi. the Chicken was Mildly spiced, not bad. Makkai Jalfrezi which is babycorn,was so one sided with a strong ajwain or thyme kind of flavour that i couldnt really bear it for more than two bites. Then we went to the biryani!! "Seriously disappointed!! We used to go to Steak Co almost every week. God! We went to the rebranded one “steak and company”. A total disaster this place has turned out to be now. The food isn’t the same anymore, the whole menu is changed and even the few ones they still do like the broccoli isn’t the same, the peppercorn sauce isn’t good at all. The staff and service were amazing. I will never go back to this restaurant ever again nor recommend it to anyone. Oh and it’s so overpriced now."

"We visited Jasmine last October and had a fantastic meal, but tonight was really disappointing. The starters were just mediocre; my chicken chaat tasted as if it had been repurposed from another dish, and the channa puri was bland and resembled overcooked chickpeas soaked in red sugar water. "Living 15 mins up the road, I'd wanted to try the restaurant for a while and opted for an Uber Eats delivery. We had the cold mezze and hot mezze which came to around £30. Luckily I had an Uber discount voucher because this was one of the most disappointing meals I've had. The portion sizes were extremely mean for the price 2 small pieces of sausage, a few sticks of halloumi and some other rather dry, unappealing, bits and pieces for the hot selection; and for the cold part, the hummus was missing and the rest was underwhelming to put it kindly. The copious amounts of bread was the only appealing aspect. Very disappointed."
