"I made a reservation online for a carvery meal based on reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was not as expected. The ambience, service, and food were all disappointing. When my party and I arrived, the staff seemed uninterested in explaining how the carvery worked, leaving us confused. We were not shown to our table, and instead, told to pick one ourselves. We then had to order and pay at the bar without knowing what options were available. The meat portions were small and seemed overcooked, with the turkey looking particularly unappetizing. The vegetables and roast potatoes were average at best. We had ordered two courses but ended up leaving before finishing the roast. While the prices were reasonable, the overall experience left much to be desired. The staff could benefit from training in customer service and hospitality. If you're looking for a memorable meal, this may not be the place for you."
