"Food is great but every time I order from here, the order is wrong and this is my 5th time eating here. Prices are a bit steep but like I said, the food is good however, imagine my surprise when I'm I ordered two double cheeseburgers one night only to have the delivery driver arrive 3 hours later. Was nearly £35, I figured because they open later than most, they'll have bumped up the price... Well. Four double cheeseburgers and a pizza. Didn't even ask for the pizza Like I said, good food but no communication on the ordering side of things."

"One Sunday evening I had a glass of wine in the Bonds a good glass of wine and just a small one. I left my purse probably at the bar where I paid. It was only Monday morning that I realised what happened and I knew it could only have been there. So I called and there it was, waiting for me to be picked. Next day I had dinner there with my kids. Thanking the lady who was the day before, she simply said that this was the pub’s policy and they just followed it. Thank you who made that policy and a thousand thanks to those who followed it! Btw I had a wonderful Cesar’s salad. It looked unusual, nothing like the common ones, but the taste was special and all incrediences fresh and tasty. I also loved the french white cuvee! Looking forward to come back!"

"The food is so delicious and the kitchen will ensure all you allergies are taken into account when ordering. You can alter the dishes and they’re gluten free friendly. Honestly over a year and a half I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu and it...has all been so delicious! I highly recommend the garlic triple fired fries with any order . The staff are so amazing, especially two waitresses called eloise and Stacy were particularly helpful!! There was even a DJ playing music during my last visit, which just made the experience even more fun. The cocktails and mocktails are also amazing, and overall the service is so quick the food was there soon after I ordered. Also the ordering system is so efficient and makes it way easier when ordering in big groups (as you can all individually order and pay separately)."

"The decoration was great... That's pretty much that. The food was a tasteless mixture in between cement and disgust. The nachos were horrible, the cheese wasn't even melted at all. After 2 minutes on the table the cheese started to cut up and to form small balls of cheese. When we told the waitress she said that she will pass the message to the kitchen, and that's it. The Mac n cheese had crumps of something very funny looking on top, as long as I remember it wasn't mention on the menu, and to be honest, a pinch of salt would have save it, maybe. The burgers were floating, like literally floating in oil, and the bacon was falling in pieces on the plate. The worst part was that the Yates in front of us was full of people while this place was fully empty, we could have spent our 28 pounds there instead."

"It was okay. The food was just okay, quite bland really. The service was okay although one of the servers rolled their eyes at us several times and we noticed them doing it when walking away from other tables. It is reasonably priced and the decor is nice but it’s a very small room and it was packed so the noise level was really bad. Basically just a small room full of people shouting at each other to be heard. One of the servers was really nice, I think they had an Irish accent? I wish I got their name because I feel bad leaving this review when they were really great!"

"we arrived shortly before 18 o'clock in the restaurant for the table we had booked at 18 o'clock for the birthday of my friends. the door was closed and a guy sitting on the podium simply cried out that it did not open until 6:30 o'clock. I tried to understand if there was another one when they book an earlier dinner, but he just went: "I am the security guard, not the manager." which obviously did not answer my question, I was very confused. so we were turned away in the middle of the covent garden on a Saturday evening to find another restaurant to go and celebrate the birthday of my friend. what counted 10 times worse when I received an email from opentable (which I booked through the table) to say that roadhouse had reported me as "no show". I showed I wanted to eat and drink cocktails there, but I was crazy! I wasn't impressed to say the least."

"My boyfriend and I went here for dinner on Saturday evening as its close to our hotel and had quite good reviews. My pasta was lovely, my boyfriends pie was also great, but his vegetables were sparse and rubbery sadly. When we asked for the bill, the staff member bought the card payment to the table on the 'add gratuity ' screen. There was no amount visible so we had no idea how much we were being charged, and he didn 't bring the bill either! I asked to see the bill again and he pressed 'no ' to gratuity so I could see the amount being charged, but thats not the same as seeing the bill. So I went to the bar to ask yet again for the bill. Finally they printed off the bill so I could see the breakdown of our order and check it was correct. It was correct, but they had added a service charge already, so frankly it was deceitful to try and get me to add a gratuity when one was already added to the bill. Very disappointed"

"A charming little café in the heart of Catford, which might not meet everyone’s expectations. Unfortunately, the service was quite poor. I had lunch with some friends, and I had to get up to ask our server to take our order. My friends received their meals quickly, but I was left waiting for about 10 minutes before my food arrived. I had ordered a tuna salad with bread, but no bread was served. When I inquired about it, the bread finally came about 5 minutes later. On the bright side, the food was tasty; my salad was fresh and delicious, and both of my friends also enjoyed their meals. However, when it was time to get the bill, I had to get up and ask again, which took another 15 minutes. If the service were improved, this could be a fantastic spot for a meal."

"I'm a regular customer who's come here countless times over the years. Sadly I've watched the place fall apart recently. I came in with my friend to be rushed through and barely listened to as a server used a harsh rude tone with me. As someone who suffers from social anxiety I really didn't enjoy this treatment. It was overstaffed with too many people getting in the way and the staff barely filling the burrito which has become an issue recently. I then unwrapped the burrito to find there was guacamole and sour cream on the outside of the wrap. Neither of which I ordered which makes me question how often gloves are changed which is key to food hygiene. A server then came over and took my friends tray despite me still eating and without saying anything and just walked off which we thought was very odd behaviour especially as I've worked in the catering business before and that's not correct behaviour. Honestly I've tried giving the place many second chances at this point I'm done and will be getting food else where. Wouldn't recommend until the place changes their act."

"Service was excellent: reception was smiling at first arrival, Thia and her teammates were very good at taking care of us (table of 10). Food and drinks were delivered promptly and at the right time. Drinks were nice, the menu has various options and the bar is well furnished and prepared even though I would have loved more options for alcol free cocktails and an alcol free beer, but I am sure that if I'd ask the bartenders they would have made any requests (and anyway that is just me). Food was abundant and innovative, and I really appreciated the options for vegetarians and vegans. We went for the set menu and couldn't finish the mains. The fried chicken was very well seasoned and tasted amazing. I would have loved to try a dessert but I was too full. Premises were amazing, cool set up and marvelous graffiti that compensate the fact that the toilets were upstairs. Toilet (men) clean and with pleasant wood touches. The place is very nice. Atmosphere and overall experience very positive. The place gets 5 stars, live music happy people: either if you go with friends and or with your partner or date it is absolutely recommend!"

Although I’m not sure of his exact role at the restaurant, whether he's a waiter, manager, or the owner, his service was nothing short of exemplary. Mike was very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a fantastic dining experience. His recommendations from the menu were spot on and greatly enhanced our meal. The atmosphere at Mexican Texmex Bar Grill is vibrant and welcoming, much like Mike’s persona. It's clear that he takes great pride in ensuring the satisfaction of the restaurant's patrons. I highly recommend Mexican Texmex Bar Grill, and a big shoutout to Mike for making our visit a memorable one. I will definitely be returning in the near future."

"Booked table for 5. When we arrived offered table for 4 with seat placed on end. Declined this table told proper table would be available 20 minutes later. Went for drink in the Back Bar. Returned 30 minutes later and shown to suitable table. Drinks took long time to arrive. Starters average and lacked flavour. Fries over salted and they were changed. The food is lacking in flavour and service is variable. Declined to pay service charge (which I normally do). The Menu is lacking choice and expensive. Time the for the Hard Rock upped their game."
