"A couple of weeks ago I had some VIPs visiting (very important parents) so after a weekend in Ockenden, a delightful dog friendly dinner at Dock Kitchen, I also treated them to a Mayfair night out, since I had been wanting to try Alyn Williams for a while. . The restaurant is part of the Westbury Hotel, a stone’s throw from Regent street and, sort of expected around here, has an ambience of understated elegance and sober opulence. It’s not very big and it’s pretty welcoming with warmly toned lights and well-spaced out tables."
